We needed to spend the night in North Carolina during a road trip vacation. Looking at choices around the city of Fayetteville, we settled on Marriott's Fairfield Inn because of its proximity to the highway for the continuation of our drive. There is nothing extraordinary to report about the property. Staff was friendly, room was clean, check in efficient and... More

I recently stayed here when I came into town for a business trip. The room was very nice, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. I didn't have time to have breakfast, but it sure smelled yummy - and it was free! I always enjoy staying at Marriott's and this one was no different. I will definitely stay here again when I... Avoid this Marriott property-not typical for chain. The hallways/rooms smell musty which mean moisture. The A/c ran overtime or not at all. So room either freezing or stagnant. The desk staff does not seem concerned. They stayed that a note was placed in Miss Ray's box. Miss Ray has been on a call or in a meeting not returning phone... More

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in with the staff being rude, uncooperative and totally irresponsible. The air-conditioner in the room broke down with the outside temperature soaring in 90 degrees and they did not have maintenance staff to fix the problem. They were not able to accomodate me in another room. They did not have... More

This was our halfway stop heading north on I-95. The hotel is conveniently located right off I-95. The room was clean. However, we were in a room located next to the elevator on the first floor. We heard loud machinery running most of the time. The breakfast buffet was good...lots of fresh fruit to select from. We left something behind... More

headed down to Savannah/Charleston/Beufort and this was a convenient stopover from the PA area...not much to say. Clean, staff friendly. I didn't like the fact that we had to cross a major highway to get over to where they had other restaurants like Ruby Tuesdays. All in all, 1 night each way worked out.

I stay at hamptons about twice a month for business. I booked a room at this one one morning then my meeting was canceled a few hours later. I call to cancel and they would not let me cancel because they had changed their cancellation policy (to 30 days!) for the US Open. I had planned on using this hotel... More

We stayed for just one night, a stop-over on our way home from a visit to the south. While we stayed at Marriots the entire week, including an upscale Marriot on Hilton Head, I have to say that in many ways, this hotel is ahead of the others by a mile. It appeared to be newly decorated. Everything was clean... More

This motel is very convenient to I-95 and has restaurants in the area to suit your needs. Property was clean, room was clean and very spacious for a king. Loved the towels--nice and soft--not skimpy. Breakfast was good--plenty for all even though a bus load of people came in. Were on third floor--had to go to first floor for ice--no... More

After reading other reviews, I was a little hesitant to stay here. However, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. The only down side was that the hotel is about 15-20 minutes off of I-95. Since it was the only Category 2 Marriott in the area, we didn't have a choice (we did not have enough... More
