Maureen and Ray are warm hosts for this historic home B&B. Accommodations are very comfortable and breakfasts are delicious, nutritious and filling enough to last until dinner. It's a great location, too - you can walk anywhere in the downtown area from there.

If you like bed and breakfasts and have a pet stay here! The house is from the mid1800's in walking distance to the water and PET FRIENDLY which is hard to find in the area! Very reasonably priced, nice rooms and clean B and B. Breakfast was lovely and Ray and Maureen are fantastic hosts. Had a great experience and... More

First, the breakfast was amazing! Generous portions, plenty of protein and sinful sweets. The couple who runs the place are very friendly, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. Elizabeth City is walkable and has a lot to offer. The B&B is centrally located, so you can easily get to restaurants, the museum, and the waterfront. We enjoyed our stay... More

We are a military couple who stayed 2 nights at this B and B. They offer a generous 15% off for military year round, which is very much appreciated. We stayed in the loft outside the house. It is very roomy and spacious. The waterfront is within walking distance and so is the library and a lot of downtown shops... More

We were going to stay in one of the pet friendly hotels in town which are a bit scary, Elizabeth City B&B accepted pets so we stayed there for about the same cost as the chain motels and what a smart move. The place is very historic, nice, private and blocks to the waterfront and downtown areas for restaurants and... More
