The host was an excellent and patient teacher for the rib making class sessions with an understated sense of humor. i And the food we helped to prepare was wonderful. I would return with a small group of friends to do it again. Fun and relaxing. Accommodations lovely and comfortable

This was my first trip to Edenton, NC, and I was quite impressed. There is an interesting lighthouse, beautiful views, and picture taking possibilities wherever you look. We stayed at the Captains Quarters Inn, a very nice B&B within walking distance of all the town's amenities. I liked the inn, our room was sparkling clean and very pretty. We had... More

We participated in the BBQ class and found it informative and enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was excellent. I recommend the Inn and BBQ Class highly. Thank you... More

We recently stayed in their Inn, and had the pleasure of meeting this "terrific" couple. The breakfast was scrumptious and due to recent dental work, they were very accommodating about fixing something not on the "menu". The location could not have been better, the room and bathroom was very clean. What a great experience and privilege to be able to... More

The Captain's Quarters Inn is perfectly situated on a quiet street and within a leisurely 5-10 minute walk minute walk of all the historical sites in downtown Edenton. The Rib University package is a unique extra feature at this B&B...entertaining and informative. Don goes the extra mile to ensure that you return home with a new or improved culinary skill!... More

We stayed two nights and took the 'Rib university' package which included an educational 'class' on smoking ribs and dry rubbed ribs that we prepared and were then smoked for dinner. Our package included also two breakfasts. First the accommodation was perfect for a couple. Ensuite room with a queen bed in an historic building just two blocks from the... More
