The good: - The living room and bedroom are somewhat divided by a wall. - The TV is positioned between the living room and the bedroom and can swivel to be viewable in either room. - There's free wifi. - The fridge is very cold. - There's plenty of pillows (5 pillows on a king size bed), with varied fillings.... more

Used Marriott points to stay. ok - location- very weird location in a business park or something? NO ATM ON SITE!! There is a small "market" in the lobby that has frozen dinners, ice cream, microwavable foods and toiletries. Missed the breakfast (it ended at 930am on Sat.) so I cant comment- apparently its a decent spread! Eggs, sausage, biscuits,... more

This was our second stay at the SpringHill Suites, and we have no complaints about the staff/property. Yes, the rooms are showing some signs of age, but I understand that a projected renovation of the property has been put on hold. Our room was more than adequate for two people, and our requests at the front desk were handled promptly... more

Great hotel on a budget price. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We've stayed at this hotel several times throughout the past year and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of kids during one of our stay. Two kids pulled the fire alarm which created an inconvenience since we had to leave... more

Our family was very disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were very small, not exactly a suite but one large room. Once the (very small) pullout couch was opened there was barely enough room to walk passed it. I would not reccomend this hotel for a family travelling with children. This room may be appropriate for no more than 2... more

The SpringHill suites is located near RDU airport, in between Durham and Raleigh. It is a stock-standard mid-priced offering in the Marriott chain. The rooms were surprisingly large with high ceilings. The front desk staff was nice and efficient upon check-in. The hotel staff also quickly rectified situation with a faulty remote control. The hotel is located back within a... more

So we went to make our second trip to North Carolina for NCAA basketball fever for March Madness 2008. My wife and I shared a king suite with a friend and we had an adjoining room with a friend and her son. Our room cost only $75 per night! This was an excellent bargain considering its location and the overall... more

We stopped at this hotel while checking out the Durham/Raleigh area. We were thrilled to get a room here for only $69 on a Friday night. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted by smiling faces and pleasant smelling candles, with the fireplace going in the lobby. We went to our room, and realized we had mistakenly been given... more

On appearance everything looked fine. The hotel is in a nice area, its fairly new, the room was laid out well, and the front desk was very friendly upon check in. Unfortunately, looks were deceiving. My biggest complaint was the noise. All night long we heard the sounds of other guests closing their doors. I attempted to use the heat/fan... more

The place might have once been in good condition, but we found it to be old, musty, rusty, dusty, and scratched. The front desk staff was pretty friendly and there were various snacks to buy from the lobby. But it was overpriced, and the room was not in a good condition. We would NOT stay there again if we're in... more
