I always try to book the best possible hotel wherever we are, comfort and cleanliness are important to me. Honestly, I am a little leery of airport hotels but this seemed like the best available for one night that was near the airport. I was very pleasantly surprised. Interestingly, we stayed in room 612, which another reviewer stayed in. I... more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful with a very comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and the fitness center looked nice as well (although we didn't use it). Very convenient access to I-40. One downside to me is the cost of internet access. Although I was staying for pleasure, I would have... more

As far as I can tell, the rooms on the concierge floor aren't any better than the standard rooms. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The "king" bed was more like a queen. The hot tub was broken and the pool was as warm as a bathtub. more

Stayed here for one night on business on the concierge level. Ironically stayed in room 612, the same room as a previous reviewer who thought the room was dated. That review was obviously prior to a renovation as the room was freshly decorated with newer furniture. The bed was the "new" Marriott type plush bed. Overall, tthe room was very... more

I booked a room at the Marriott RTP for our wedding night due to the fact that we would be flying out of RDU very early the next morning for our honeymoon. I chose this hotel based on recommendations from others and I was NOT disappointed. The hotel knew it was our wedding night (I had contacted them regarding a... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott at Research Triangle Park for one night on 3/3/07. We were there to see a concert at the RBC Center, and then leave the next morning, so we were only in the hotel for a limited amount of time, but I will do my best to give you some input about the... more

I visited RTP for business and booked my room at the Marriott based on Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed. My non-smoking king room was on the concierge level - I needed a key card to access that floor. But it meant that everyone was there for the same reason - business. The floor was quiet and secure. I... more

Stayed here in early September for a business trip to RTP. The hotel was perfect for a business traveler. Perks included free fruit, coffee, and lemonade near the elevators. The room was fine, had everything you'd expect including coffee maker, internet access, and normal limited TV options. About my only complaint was that when I checked in there was absolutely... more

Friendly staff, clean rooms and exceptionally clean bathrooms. Well appointed room, with probably the best beds I have slept on at a hotel. The bed linens and comforters were very nice and comfortable. more

The Marriott in Research Traingle Park is a very nice hotel. It is a smaller-than-normal Marriott hotel (I have a stereotype of large Marriott hotels) but still carries the normal Marriott luxury. We stayed at the Marriott as part of a large group of collegiate football players playing at the NC State football field. The rooms at the Marriott all... more
