My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel during a vacation to the area and we were very impressed with this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in recent years and this is one of our favorites. The rooms are very clean, the public areas are beautifully maintained and the staff is very professional. We enjoyed the pool... more

My wife and I stayed one Friday night to pick up my son from Duke. Hotel is about 10 minutes from the university. Typical Marriott but nice and recently renovated. Staff was very friendly. Adequate fitness room with 3 eliptical machines, 3 treadmills, and free weights. Even had fruit, granola bars at the fitness room in case you get hungry.... more

I stay 50-60 Marriott property nights a year and this hotel is BELOW PAR.. It is not below par becuase only one elevator has worked the past 3 times I have stayed there but becuase.. they say they do not offer HBO becuase it is a "Family" hotel however they have all the porn you want if you pay for... more

Stayed here free (Marriott points) 1 night in mid-February 2009 to run errands for upcoming family wedding to be held nearby. The hotel is fine but it annoys me that the higher up a hotel chain's "quality" ones goes the more expensive for services. For example, wireless internet service was $9.00 a day in the room - I recently stayed... more

I stayed at the Marriott Research Triangle Park for 4 nights in January 2009 while on business in RTP. If you stay at a lot of hotels, as I do, you know what differentiates a great hotel from an ok one. The cons: no HBO, my room had no cream/sugar packets, the LCD screens had analog TV with fuzzy pictures,... more

I always try to book the best possible hotel wherever we are, comfort and cleanliness are important to me. Honestly, I am a little leery of airport hotels but this seemed like the best available for one night that was near the airport. I was very pleasantly surprised. Interestingly, we stayed in room 612, which another reviewer stayed in. I... more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful with a very comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and the fitness center looked nice as well (although we didn't use it). Very convenient access to I-40. One downside to me is the cost of internet access. Although I was staying for pleasure, I would have... more

As far as I can tell, the rooms on the concierge floor aren't any better than the standard rooms. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The "king" bed was more like a queen. The hot tub was broken and the pool was as warm as a bathtub. more

Very nice

Stayed here for one night on business on the concierge level. Ironically stayed in room 612, the same room as a previous reviewer who thought the room was dated. That review was obviously prior to a renovation as the room was freshly decorated with newer furniture. The bed was the "new" Marriott type plush bed. Overall, tthe room was very... more

I booked a room at the Marriott RTP for our wedding night due to the fact that we would be flying out of RDU very early the next morning for our honeymoon. I chose this hotel based on recommendations from others and I was NOT disappointed. The hotel knew it was our wedding night (I had contacted them regarding a... more
