We were in town visiting family receiving treatment at Duke and got a great last-minute deal to stay here for a few nights. I used to work as a marketing communications director for a highly rated boutique resort in Colorado, so I am a very discerning guest. We were upgraded to the Parrish suite, which was decorated in a hip,... More

We stayed only one night and arrived at 6 only to leave for dinner at 6:45pm. However, we were greeted and put into our rooms quickly. The rooms are large and have nice seating areas. I ordered a split of white wine which came quickly. The bed was good and the bathroom roomy. The breakfast was excellent !!!! I had... More

My wife bought us a one night stay here for my Father's Day gift as a little night away treat from the kids; even though we live only about 15 min from the B&B. We stayed in the Moss Room and it was great. The property is very historic yet nicely updated with great amenities and spacious rooms. The breakfast... More

If you need a place to lay your head while in the Durham area this is the place to stay. The Kings Daughter's Inn or KDI as the locals affectionally call it is a 17 room luxurious Inn on the outside of Duke's east campus. It is walking distance to shops and eatery's. The staff here is super friendly and... More

I stay in Durham 2-3 times per year, and I always hope that I'll be able to get a room at King's Daughter's Inn (KDI). The owners of the Inn are personable and accommodating -- I've come to feel like it is a home away from home. The rooms are beautiful: spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Really comfortable beds with luxury... More

Randi - Thank you for writing such a lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time! If you're looking for some more excuses to come visit, how about taking in a show at DPAC or visiting a couple of museums? You can actually walk to The Nasher Museum from the Inn by cutting across Duke's East Campus... which is... More

We were in Durham for a wedding and the entire B & B was reserved for guests of the wedding party. Our suite had 2 rooms - one will a pullout couch for our girls and a king sized bed in the other room - the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding... Lovely inn. Nice room with lots of space. Great service & breakfast. Good location between downtown & Duke University. Nice neighborhood with beautiful old homes. Across the street is a green space on Duke's campus with a 2-mile jogging path. Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) only 1.5 miles away. Duke University Gardens & Chapel just a short drive. Would definitely... More
