I planned a trip for my husband's birthday and found this hotel. My husband is a state employee in Virginia, so we received the state rate which was really cheap!! The hotel was clean and spacious. - The room was very spacious and comfortable and the beds were pretty comfortable. Also, the breakfast was pretty nice: they served a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles ( along with a continental breakfast) The hotel wasn't overly crowded and overall pleasant. more

I work over-seas but I'm from Durham so when I go back to the States I stay at this hotel several times a year. My spouse and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights (7/29-8/3/09). The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were courteous. Loved the hot breakfast each morning: eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrown potatoes and "make your own waffle" station, fresh juices, tea and coffee. We missed the Manager reception on Wednesday night but enjoyed it on Thursday! VERY... more

We stayed here as part of a wedding party. Overall, I thought the hotel was great. Room was clean and very spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Free wi-fi, which was great. Front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot items (which varied day to day), cereals, pastries, fruit, etc.... more
