My husband and I stayed at this hotel after a Duke Football game, although its just as close to UNC. We enjoyed the location - very close to shopping and food. The hotel was nice and clean. We just returned from a night at Homewood Suites Durham. It is well-maintained and clean, and an excellent value(less than $100 at AAA rate on the weekend). The staff was very friendly. The pool area is comfortable and quiet. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner was very noisy, and would come on with a blast of cold air... more

really enjoyed it stayed a couple of days the staff was great the food was delicious. the rooms was clean and large. never been to a hotel where the kitchen was separate from the living room and bedroom. Our room was huge, pleasantly decorated, and extremely comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price of the room includes a free buffet breakfast, unlimited coffee, and an evening meal. Overall, a great stay in a wonderful hotel. more
