This is our favorite hotel in Durham/Chapel Hill. It is cheap, very convenient to Duke and UNC. We stay here a lot for weekend visits. Pet friendly! more

To begin with, my reservations were not made properly. I've made online reservations many times before, so i'm not sure if I'm to blame or if the system somehow screwed up. This place was great. Clean room, very comfortable bed. Tried to get hotel closer to airport but they were all very expensive for a one night stay. We paid only $62 for a king room. We had a sort of "family reunion" at the La Quinta. Found the staff to be friendly and accomodating. The indoor pool was large and provided great activity for teens and children in the group.
