When first planning our trip up north to see the kids and grand kids I looked for a location about half way between Florida and Pennsylvania. I checked all the routine Travel Lodges, Inns etc. and often found reviews that were not too comforting. My first prerequisite, as always, is to find a CLEAN place to stay. Easy to find off the highway, the stately home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I loved our large, private room on the second floor.(All private baths too) We were warmly greeted and immediately felt "at home". The porch, the pool, and the grounds are well maintained and inviting. We had a restful night's sleep and woke to the smell... more
