Loved the place. They upgraded our room cause they had an empty room on the water- rm 23. A nice relaxing getaway. Eat at the Urban Kitchen, go for a bike ride, watch someone try to drive their car on the beach and get stuck, and get some Duck Donuts to complete the experience.

We stayed two nights in the garden patio room. I don't know about the other rooms but our room was awful. The furniture was old, not antique, just old and shabby. The blankets had holes in them, the towels had stains on them and the bed....omg. It must be 50 years old, lumpy and so hard that my husband and... More

The Duck Inn is a lovely, intimate B&B. Only three rooms so it's guaranteed to be quiet. The public rooms are comfortable, plenty of places to just relax in the shade or in the sun.... Our room was large with a comfortable king-sized bed, a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower...the view of the Sound from the balcony was so... More

Duck Inn was a great experience. Room/bed were very comfortable. Location was right near shops and restaurants. Breakfeast as the best part, I would change the name to Duck Inn Breakfeast and bed. The Breakfeast was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfeast Skillet, Apple Pancakes, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, and English Muffins were all at our disposal. I... More

My husband and I have been visiting the Outer Banks since the 1970s, and our favorite place to stay is with Donna and Charlie Whitley at the Duck Inn. As innkeepers, they are warm, inviting, and knowledgeable about the area. We always arrive in the afternoon stressed out. We find the perfect cure by enjoying a glass of wine at... More

The owner, Donna, created a warm and hospitable environment for her guests. We enjoyed the use of screened in porch as well as the gazebo and pier. Breakfasts were delicious and varied all three mornings. The Inn is centrally situated to enable us to enjoy the entire Outer Banks.

My wife and I and our good friend booked rooms at the Duck Inn. Our room which featured a private patio and entrance was perfectly suited for the two of us. Extremely clean, quaint, comfortable room and bed, and quiet. We would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Duck Inn. The Inn is walking distance to the beach and... More

We spent the memorial day weekend in Duck and spent two nights/ three days at this B&B. The attention from the Inn owner, Donna was just the perfect amount. She made us feel very welcome. All guests are served breakfast around a large table every morning at 9, which is a good way to meet other interesting people staying at... More

In the prettiest setting on the outer banks, we found the Duck Inn to be a great place to stay. It was one of the least expensive B&B's we found on the North end of NC's Outer Banks, but accomodations, location, breakfast and hosts were first rate! It's an easy walk to several restaurants and quaint shopping district. Be sure... More

The Duck Inn is a very nice two room B&B on the Outer Banks, just south of Duck's commercial area. For a reasonable price, you get the use of most of the house, which includes a lovely sitting room and dining room, screened in porch and several sitting areas by the water, including a gazebo out on the water. The... More
