We stayed at The Chalet Inn based on reviews from trip advisor. We definitely made a good choice. We stayed here as part of a kayaking weekend on the Tuckaseege and Namtahala Rivers. Hanneke and George are excellent innkeepers. The place is immaculate and has many activities. They even have their own beer and wine shop. It was such a... More

This place is nestled up in the mountains of western North Carolina. Close to Dillsboro, Silva, and Cherokee. It was quiet and peaceful and the staff was vert attintative. They have a bed and breakfast there also. They bring breakfast to your door very morning at eight o'clock. You choose the day before what you want. They have trails to... More

The Chalet Inn and beautiful and the grounds are unexpectedly fun! The innkeepers have set up horse shoes, badminton, croquet, bocce ball as well as a cute fire pit area and marked walking trails all around the inn. All quaint and low key, but plenty of activities. We arrived early (not realizing check-in was at 3:00) and we met Hanneke... More

After reading so many positive reviews on The Chalet Inn, we had to give it a try. On the quiet side of the Smokies, this B&B is everything the reviews tout it as. We were greeted by Camile upon pulling in. A quick visual tour and explanation of some of their ammenities and policies. Walking inside it had the wonderful... More

A fantastic relaxing stay where George and Henneke had thought about every detail. Had a delicious different breakfast in the room for us every day and the hot tub in the room was perfect after a long days hike. Thank you George and Henneke Rich and Susie

My husband and I wanted a nice, quiet get-away to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We found The Chalet Inn through an internet search. We could not have been more pleased with the entire weekend. Hanneke met us upon arrival and showed up immediately to the Romantic Hideaway. The room was lovely, just what we had hoped for. The location... More

Great little inn with an impeccable attention to the details. They even have mosquitoes repellent stored on the trails around property, if you have forgotten yours. Hanneke makes very delicious breakfasts. George has drawn the maps of the area, and can give an advice on the places to see and trails to hike depending on your interest. This is the... More

Two days before the 4th of July when my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Cherokee to visit Harrah's Casino. Apparently everyone had the same idea we did because I couldn't find a room anywhere. I ended up on Cherokeesmokies.com, knowing all the hotels would be taken, decided to look under Inns/B&Bs. The website said it was... More

My Husband and I stayed there for memorial day weekend and It was fanatic. The place is absolutely charming. George and Hanukkah take great care of place and their guest. I absolutely enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor games they have. Some of things we absolutely loved: It's very close to Smokey mountain national park They have so many games... More

Beautiful, peaceful location where the friendly hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfy. Haneke provides delicious home cooked breakfasts and George will advise you on the surrounding area. Our room was Brookview, which faces the wooded hillside and has the brook below. It has... More
