this hotel is pretty nice. the rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely equipped. the complimentary breakfast is very nice, with a decent selection and ample seating room. the hotel restaurant, the rocky river grille, is wonderful. more

Hopefully our Souther Hospitality wowed you coming all the way from New York. Thank you for the great review. We are proud of our property and all that it has to offer, especially our Rocky River Grille. When traveling away from home, if you want to get away from the "chain restaurants", nothing beats the dining experience at our restaurant....

Recently returned from a weekend here at the Embassy Suites Golf/Spa Concord. I did not get a chance to enjoy the links, so I can't review here on that. However, I can comment on the hotel and tell you that it was definitely modern and inviting. The reception/breakfast in the atrium level was a bit crowded at times, making it... more

I am glad to see that you were able to get the full experience of what our property has to offer (minus the golf.) Maybe on your next visit you can find some time to try out our beautiful Rocky River Golf Course. Thank you for your kind words.

I'm usually a fan of the Embassy Suites. Now I'm really not so sure. Most nights they have the manager's reception, where you get drinks and snacks. They do it here as well, but they've really cut back (we've been once before). Where they used to have hot dogs, nachos and tacos, they now have a couple of bins of... more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a great location, was well maintained, clean with a friendly staff. I requested a high floor with a view on my internet reservation. Boy did they accomodate. When we got there they had put us in a top floor room with a view of the speedway. Breakfast was good although... more

Stayed here 1 night while attending a business meeting nearby. I have stayed at some of the other hotels in this area (Concord Mills Mall area) and this was the best. The night I stayed was not very expensive and when you consider the free breakfast, managers reception and large suite room a great bargain. The room and hotel in... more

I made a reservation for my son's birthday as I did last year. Last year, a guest service agent by the name of Ansi saw that it was my son's birthday. While we were gone she had placed a "birthday bag" in room with snacks, chocolates, and a free movie! He was absolutley ecstatic. This year when I booked, I... more

First, a happy birthday to your son! I regret that this year's birthday celebration at our hotel wasn't as fondly memorable as last year. It certainly is a great thing when staff go above and beyond to make our guest's stay extra special. The downside is when that same experience is not had on the next visit. It is a...

This was a beautiful hotel, and although we often stay at Embassy Suites was the only time we've seen a manager socialize with the guests at the Manager's Reception in the evening. The snacks were the regular salty stuff but they had Belgian white ale on tap for the free drinks (more than compensating) and the restaurant had good kids... more

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I am glad you noticed that we actually have managers attend the manager's reception. We have all managers on a rotation schedule so one day it might be the General Manager and the next night it might be our Human Resource Director. The goal is to meet and greet our guests. You, the guests,...

This hotel is OK. I just have a couple of small complaints. 1. They charge $10 for internet connection while the other nearby "lesser" expensive hotels do not. We had 2 laptops, therefore the $20 for this was a rip. 2. The maid knocked on the door to clean our room at 8:30 AM and woke us up. This I... more

Let me state this. I grew up in Concord for 22 years. I moved away and recently stayed here on a return visit to stay with family. Every single year for the last 7 years I've returned twice to visit and have stayed at many places. This is the first time I've stayed at this hotel since it's relatively new.... more

Very little to add from the other reviewers except to reitertate what a pleasant and new property this is. Its location to Concord Mills was our primary reason for choosing this property. We were upgraded to a HUGE two bedroom corner suite with large living room, wet bar, etc. I thought the breakfast was actually a little better than the... more
