The Brickhouse Inn is a great value. If you like b&b's and you are headed to the Outer Banks of NC. I recommend this Inn. The house is over 100 years old and has a great southern charm. We stayed in the Magnolia room. It has a private bath and porch. The home is located within walking distance of everything.... More

Another great stay at the Brickhouse Inn with my wife. Kay the caretaker called on the day of check in for my travel plans and asked about breakfast for the next morning because we were the only guest for that night she's awesome. We love coming to this B&B because its peaceful, calm, relaxing and the breakfast is always great.

We took advantage of a Living social deal and boy was it! The price could not be beat! The accommodations were simple and no frills, which was ok with us. We wish we could have met the owners of the Inn but they are busy people. The lady running the Inn was very nice and gave us her phone number... More

I purchased my Living Social deal on April 5, 2015 and was trying to contact the facility to reserve my dates for almost a month with no return phone call or email. I had emailed requesting my dates as well. I had to contact Living Social to let them know that no one was returning my calls because I did... More

My partner made reservations at this B&B through Groupon and got an excellent deal. We really had no idea what to expect in the property or the town. But what a surprise. This town is located on Hwy 64 right on the way to the Outer Banks. It's a sleep little village on the Scuppernong River dating back to the... More

My partner and I stayed at this quaint B&B and thoroughly loved it. The facilities were wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the amenities excellent, and the included breakfast abundant. We chose the Magnolia Room, a first floor room with a private bath and private porch. Kay, the hostess was always welcoming, helpful, and available whenever we needed her. She made great... More

Very nice accommodations were found at The Brickhouse Inn. Caretaker Kay certainly went the extra mile to assure our comfort and her breakfast offerings, fresh and abundant. You'll have a nice, quiet stay and be an easy drive to Alligator River Refuge and the Outer Banks!

Quaint restored home downtown within walking distance of 1 great spot to eat and a couple more which are pretty good. Most rooms have a private bath which we prefer. I believe they have wifi and the beds are comfortable. Tv's are dated but over in thus part of the state you need to get out of the room and... More

Columbia is a very quaint small town, and is also a great jumping off point to go see the Outer Banks. As for the Brickhouse the management was very friendly, the property had that "Coastal Southern" feel, the rooms were clean, and the food was great. We would happily go back even without the online deal!

We visited Columbia, NC for our 1 year anniversary and I could not be happier that we did! I know Megan, the owner of The Brickhouse Inn from college and she suggested we stay there. My husband and I were so excited to go somewhere neither of us had been so we booked right away. First off, the prices are... More
