We stayed five nights at Lasseter’s Landing B&B at the end of December 2006. This is a very fine, new and modern B&B with great hosts – Betty & Gregg. The B&B is directly on the waterfront of Albemarle Sound with only two guest rooms which are on the second floor and both of which have great views of the Sound. A delightful reading/sitting room separates the two bedrooms. The sitting room has a small bar set up with a microwave, mini-fridge, countertop and sink. A modest supply of utensils and snacking-ware are available.

Each guest room has a very nice private bath. A good-sized balcony overlooking the water and available to all guests is off the sitting room and fronts one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom has a large window overlooking the sound. A set of French double doors in the downstairs foyer separates the hosts’ living area from the stairs up to the guest rooms and allows for quiet and discreet coming and going.
