From the lobby the hotel looked great, but once you got into the halls to get to the room, things went downhill. The hall smelled like cigarette smoke, even though the floor we were on was non-smoking. The hall carpet was dingy and in need of cleaning. The rooms were basic, and in need of being updated. the carpet looked... more

We stayed there for five nights. My first impression of the hotel was very good, it's very pretty, very well landscaped. I had read varying reviews so was really happy they hadn't overbooked and I had a room :) However, the first night was not real pleasant as the a/c kept cycling on and off. Found out the next day... more

The room was very clean and met up to our standards. It is in a great location - everything you would ever need is right out the door. The service was friendly and the price was right. more

My family of 5 stayed at The Village Inn for a week while our floors were being redone. The service was outstanding... many of the staff knew my children by name and were very gracious. Great decor... very clean and well maintained. The breakfast had great variety and was convenient. The hotel was busy with a conference and wedding reception... more

wow! We came to town and village inn golf and conference center rolled out the "red carpet"! From the moment we arrived at the front desk our service was great! We arrived a little early, and our rooms were ready and we had the chance to relax before our busy weekend began. The kids had a great time at the... more

We had made reservations over two months in adavance with a soccer team. We arrived early and was told our room was being cleaned. We got lunch and waited for four hours to find out we didnt have a room!!! They had over booked. I understand this somewhat but they knew this the whole time I was sitting in their... more

We booked 17 rooms 90 days before arrival, and 3 days before departure I received an email saying due to water damage they would have to cancel our rooms and move us to a local hotel that did not have pool, restaurant or other facilities we'd requested. When I found out that it was due to overbooking, I confronted our... more

We booked online and stayed for three days. Very reasonable at $69 a night. Obviously an older hotel, but well maintained. Just like staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the street minus the free breakfast, but $20-$30 cheaper. Location conveniently right off I-40 and a Lowe's grocery is a five minute walk from the room. Next investment should be... more

I enjoyed by stay at the Village Inn. It is easy to find, and although it is not new, it is well kept. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the restaurant had adequate food. The desk people were polite and pleasant. Even the windows were clean. They have a small workout room but no TV in it.... more

Our first room smelled like vomit. The dresser drawers even made our clothes smell. We complained to the desk and were given a room that had "refreshed". They are in the process of doing all the rooms, so if you stay there, ask for a room that has been updated. more
