Love, love, love this campground. Beautiful scenic mountain creeks on the property to fish and play in, as well as a small lake on site. Flat campground roads to bike on. There is also a store on the campgrounds which offers breakfast and pizza. This campground is convenient to many activities in the Smokey Mountains and the staff are friendly... More

all in all not a bad campground, staff was friendly and helpful, close to downtown without being in town. Pros clean and quiet, campsites by the stream. clean facilities cons store closed around 4pm, no change or vending machine in laundry, no wifi except in center of campground,

Lucked into a spot with a concrete patio which was ideal because we had rain for two days. Although the campground was crowded because it was peak foliage week the spaces were more than adequate and the staff attentive to any needs we had. Excellent location just being a few miles from Harrahs and downtown Cherokee. Only camped here four... More

We stayed here with the fmaily in a travel trailer. The spots are ok, relatively level, and have some gravel. They are not up to the standard we are used to, but worked. We stayed along the lake which was nice, and the kids enjoyed fishing although they were tiny. It has easy access to the national park and the... More

The road in front of the campsites where the stream runs is heavily traveled all times of the day and night. Lots and lots of motorcycles. It was really, really loud and certainly not what we expected. It was our first visit so we were not aware of noise issue. My suggestion would be for the office to advise first... More

First, understand this was Labor Day weekend. But that being said this campground left a lot to be desired. Constant dogs barking, and a spot under oak trees that dropped acorns on the camper for five days ! I would have been ok if the lady at check in would have warned me and offered other sites. The bath house... More

Stayed here two nights last week on the back creek. First time here and we absolutely loved it. The campsites were clean and well maintained, as were the bath houses. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Went for a long weekend Thursday thru Sunday for the Children's Trout Derby. Easy to find and accessible. Very secure! We rented a site by the creek. Fast moving and just deep enough for fishing and tubing. Loved listening to the water at night. Bath houses were very clean. Kids really enjoyed tubing, swimming in the pool, bouncy house, arcade... My husband and I have been passing this campground for years when we have rented a cabin in Maggie Valley and thought that it would be a nice place to stay. We bought a camper and decided to spend a few days here. This is a very large campground and it looks like there are a lot of seasonal campers... More

very relaxing. plenty for the little ones to do Staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't feel like cooking -order pizza from the front office. wifi is not great but you're in the mountains just relax and enjoy the slower pace:)
