This was a clean and comfy spot to stay while visiting the Smokies and Blue Ridge Parkway. We used it as our "home base." Jennifer helped us at registration and solved problem very quickly and courteously. The breakfast cook also was very kind.

Visited for 2 nights with husband and 9/11 year old boys. Had room 241/suite with 2 queens and a sofa bed. The room is huge and very so plenty of space to spread out. TV is small so we snuggled to watch the Cavaliers game :-). Typical continental breakfast (yogurt, pastries, eggs, fruit, etc) enough to get us started. Casino... More

PROS: We stayed here one night in May 2015. The room was large, clean, and comfortable (soft beds!). The fitness center and pool look nice though we didn't use them. Also, the hotel is very convenient to Harrah's as it's just across the street from their parking lot. Just a 5 minute walk. CON: The walls are very very thin.... More

The holiday inn express was an unplanned stop in Cherokee but a welcome one. The place is fairly new and has easy access the the casino right across the road. Breakfast was included and was exactly what you would expect. Check in was quick and the room features were very comfortable. Cherokee is a beautiful town and my stay there... More

We stayed Fri and Sat night in a Suite on the 2nd floor. #240 (right next to the elevator). Glad I read the reviews, book through the hotel website so no non-smoking room issues. I did call to verify it was non-smoking though. The suite had a king bed and a couch pullout, microwave and refrigerator. I was worried about... More

Was a very nice hotel when first opened, but over the last couple of years things have been let go and the property is starting to decline. It's a shame as the hotel is in almost perfect location to walk to the casino. Breakfast in the morning is very good, on par with other Holiday Inn Expresses. Pool is nice,... More

My Mom and I stayed here for a Spring break visit to the GSMNP. The property is conveniently located to the park and to attractions related to Cherokee Indian culture. A casino is located across the street, if you're into that type of thing. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast bar could've been restocked in a more... More

Oh, wow, they have really soft beds in a convenient location. Across the street is Harrahs Cherokee Casino. Down the street are shops and restaurants. Not a bad place in to stay. The breakfast buffet was ok. Please fix the shower rods, though.

Excellent Hotel and location for events at Harrah's Cherokee. Hotel very clean and service very good. The only problem is with Cherokee itself. Town needs to add sidewalks in the area around Harrah's to make traversing to and from other hotels to the casino easier.

I booked 2 rooms to go see a concert at the casino. At check in I was informed that both rooms were smoking rooms even though I had requested non smoking. The desk clerk informed me that when booked through a 3rd party (Expedia in this case), I was automatically assigned smoking rooms because they are less desirable and that... More
