Great Location with hiking, fishing, and wading. Waterfalls are nearby. The last day of the trip, we even found a nearby casino. This is a nice location for families with children. There are peddle-carts and floats available, as well as a game room, and more. The restrooms are well placed. The cleaning schedule always seemed to be when I needed... More

Thank you Adrian for the nice review. We definitely are a family oriented park with a lot of activities and fun things for the kiddos. In the summer season folks do tube the river a lot. Most of the serious fishing happens in the spring and fall. Our local hatchery drops fish a couple days a week, but the days... More

We just finished our week at Yogi in the Smokies! Can't remember if it's our 3rd or 4th trip, but as usual we had a great time! Walking trails, seeing different waterfalls, trout fishing, shopping, bike riding, or activities at the pavilion. There's something for EVERYONE!! You can tent camp, bring in your own rv/camper, or you can rent a... More

Beautiful location! We visited previously in 2010 and had an amazing experience, so much so we brought our brother and his family along this time. Unfortunately we found out the management had changed and this was not the same park we visited before! The management never listened to, much less addressed our concerns. Instead, they talked over us and accused... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We do our best to make sure that every guest has a wonderful experience at our park and we do apologize that your visit wasn't up to our normal standards. We do have certain policies in place regarding tents on sites designated for cabins or RV's but it sounds... More

We have been camping at Yogi in Cherokee on and off for over 15 years. Love the atmosphere and many improvements over the years. Best customer service this trip then ever before. Plenty of staff support as campground was full. Stayed in lower section, off water, and bathhouse shower was best I have ever had in ANY campground. Staff actually... More

This is our go to lodging when we come to Cherokee. It is very family oriented-kids galore. Very clean and accommodating. Activities for the young and old. Sand box to floating down the river and everything in between. Never disappoints.

Stayed 4 nights, 5 days at Yogi in the Smokies in Cherokee, NC in our travel trailer. First time camping there and it was fantastic. Lots of sites right on the river, but we were off river. Didn't matter, as all sites are close to the river. So much to do there, would be a kids heaven! Only adults in... More

Nice big campsite, clean and quiet. Some activities for children most of the day. Good playground and excellent bath room and showers. Very friendly staff. Improvements could be made in Wifi, access is limited to only two devices per campsite. No AT&T cell service so if you connect your phone by wifi you can not connect your computer. 50 amp... More

With three grand kids in tow, this was a good selection because of the swimming pool, crafts and other kid activities at the RV park. It's a bit of a drive from town up a very winding road and the address is not recognized correctly by most GPS units, so you have to watch for the Yogi signs. Had plenty... More

We went to Yogi in the Smokies in April 2014 with another family, at this time of year the park is not too crowded and was nice and quite even for a weekend. There were 8 of us and we had a 1 bedroom cabin with a hide a bed and loft. The cabin was clean had running water, a/c... More
