Just spent our 4th fall weekend (10/23-25/15) and, as always, had a wonderful time! We started coming w/ our travel trailer when our kids were 3 (girl), 11 & 12 (boys) & this time visited with daughter (now 7) & older son (now 16) along w/ family of daughter's friends (2 girls-7 & 8). It's almost 4 hrs from our... More

It is nice to be right on the river. The pet friendly Off-River cabin was much smaller than it looked online, the loft is so short that you can only sit down while up there, but would be good for kids old enough to navigate the ladder unaccompanied. Still a good view of the river... hardly anyone was there the... More

I come twice a year with my blood family to meet up with a bunch of our chosen family. The managers are always eager to accommodate our needs. The activity center has many activities to keep the kids busy. The heated pool was comfortable even though the weather was chilly. The campground in itself is beautiful and clean. The bathrooms... So glad we stayed at the Yogi in the Smokies campground. Very family oriented. Lots of activities for the children everyday. Nice campsites and even though it was totally full, still very enjoyable. Allot better than KOA down the road. Nice amenities for the kids such as a very nice playground, basketball court, teaterball, and swimming pool. There is a... More

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We appreciate all feedback we receive from our customers. I'm afraid I've never heard the comparison to Walmart, as we have no blacktop and are a completely rustic campground. We are full on holidays, since so many of our customers come back every holiday every year, but all the kids... More

This was our first mountain campground that we have ever camped at. We ended up camping here by mistake due to another campground being full that we were gonna camp at with friend, but it was a mistake worth it, and glad the other one turned out being full. At first, I wasn't sure that I was gonna like it.... More

Thank you for your review. We're grateful that you took the time to share your experience at Yogi in the Smokies. The road into the campground does go through a rural neighborhood before you get to our entrance. Once you get in, you'll notice a serene rustic campground with a beautiful river flowing through. If you have kids and want to stay somewhere a little rustic, this is the place for you. We rented a cabin and stayed for 4 nights. Great location for trout fishing and tubing. Daily activities for kids. If you are the person that likes a 5 star accommodation, this probably isn't the place for you. We didn't have a... More

Our family of three and another family of four booked a Cherokee Cabin off river because it was dog friendly and didn't want to leave our four legged friend home. It was to our surprise big enough for all seven of us. The two full size mattresses in the loft area worked perfect for my husband, myself and our 5... More

Thank you so much for your review Christine. It's very helpful for others to hear how your families fit into the cabins and how comfortable everything was. We're glad you enjoyed our large, heated pool. It's a favorite among us all, the new pool basketball especially. I'm glad to hear that the kids loved all the activities that we do,... More

We booked a spur of the moment weekend getaway to this campground. We weren't able to get a river front site, but we ended up with a nice-sized full hook-up site (#59) toward the front of the campground Like another reviewer mentioned, the driveway leading up to this campground definitely looks questionable and we were a little concerned what we'd... Great and friendly staff easy check in and out, are site was a great size with water and power. Straight across from bath house but right on the river which you can fish, swim, or tube in.
