We stayed at this Hampton cause it's leaf-peeping time in NC and our fave place was full. The place was fine, seemed clean and we would stay here again. Beware--they do not have an elevator so the 2nd floor could be a chore. Night man was very nice and the continental breakfast was fine in the morning more

Didn't have our reserved room, room we ended up with was dirty, linen hadn't been changed, desk clerk was less than helpful. You can do better at the EconoLodge down the road. more

My extended family has stayed at the Cherokee Hampton Inn for over 16 years -- always the last weekend in July. The staff is always helpful, the rooms clean and they let us take over their breakfast area later in the day to sit and viist. Our only complaints have been no queen size beds, lack of proteins on the... more

For those of you (like me) who are frequent HHonors (Diamond) travelers and have come to rely on the Hampton property amenities as the "standard" for rural hotel properties, then you will be hugely disappointed with this hotel. No in-room refrigerators. Double (not queen) beds. Outdoor pool (only). No exercise room. No elevator to the second floor. Newspaper not delivered... more

Very nice and clean hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. Ok beds (they were comfortable but small -doubles not queens), cool air, adequate internet. We really missed an elevator because we had been traveling for several days and had a lot of clothes and luggage. It was tough carrying all of our stuff up and down stairs. Hallways were air-conditioned... more

I felt that the staff was annoyed by us. We never complained once about anything, but we did need help with directions. One staff memeber I wish i could remember her name was amazing. Her daughter lived in the same town as I do and we connected. Everyone else was just blah. The front desk staff was sitting in a... more

We nearly always stay at a Hampton Inn if the location is acceptable. This without even looking at the reviews because the hotels are very consistent based on our past experiences. No longer will we do that after finding that Hampton Inns have at least one hotel that requires you to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs. We... more

Stayed just two nights but found the staff very helpfull. We eat next door at the Hilton and the food was good. Supprised to find that i could not have wine with my meal, however we managed. Staff recomended a resturant for second night, bit of a drive but well worth it. Rooms typical of Hampton Inn plenty of space and well... more

Me and my wife went to Cherokee for a weekend getaway and booked a room at the Hampton Inn because I had a free room from reward points I had built up. The hotel was nice and the room was very clean. We stayed on the second floor which let me to my only complaint. There isn't an elevator in... more

Went to Cherokee at the last minute over weekend of 2/17 and stayed at the Hampton Inn. Got a rate of $56 thru the casino since they did not have rooms for us. I was pleasantly suprised at how clean the room was---non smoking room but still could smell smoke in room was my only complaint. No elevator here but... more
