Harrah's comped us for 2 nights. Place was ok. No towels at pool. TV's are old, no input jacks for kid's games. Beds are not real comfy. It was free so I guess it served its purpose. more

Check in was easy, clerk was friendly. However, she gave us a room quite a distance from the lobby, and the wi-fi barely worked. After I got booted 6 times, we asked for another room. We were given a closer room, but the clerk led me to believe that it was almost an inconvienence to her because the closer rooms... more

I was a little suprised with the 4pm check in time. What suprised me more was when we arrived at a few minutes after 4pm, we were told the rooms were still being cleaned and it would be about 10 minutes. After about 45 minutes with still no room, we asked just how long it was going to be, they... more

If I wasn't such a big fan of Holiday Inns, I would be a lot tougher on this hotel. First, the pluses - great location, nice little check-in, cute restaurant, great rate..Now, the problems - old school motel feel that I have not seen in ages, access through the outside with these huge windows into each room, the rooms are... more

We found this hotel from the Great Smokey Mountain Train website. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room and bathroom. Room was small but enough for a family of 4 for 1 night. Wi-Fi was easy to connect too, but a little slow. Location was good for the Cherokee area. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Service... more

We were booked by Harrah's for our stay in September, and when asked for a credit card or cash deposit, I questioned this because the room was being paid for by Harrah's. The clerk indicated it was for "incidentals", such as long distance phone calls, or trashing the room. I explained that we were Senior Citizens and were there only... more

The room was nice and clean and the staff friendly, just what one expects but rarely receives. Not a single issue to speak of. The hotel itself is located just outside the high traffic areas of the city, a real plus if you are staying during the 4th of July weekend. The real attraction of this hotel is the restaurant.... more

We stayed there in the dead of winter cause it is close by to us (within 100 miles) and they have an indoor pool. The pool was clean and the hot tub next to it was HOT! The room was in good shape, but then again this is not a brand new hotel. I believe it was about $75 with... more

We have stayed at this hotel for the last three years and have already made reservations for the July 4th weekend this year. The rooms are always clean and neat. Beds are relatively comfortable for a hotel. It's close enough to downtown Cherokee that it only takes 2 minutes to get there from the hotel (sooner depending on traffic). It's... more
