This was the most special Marriott we've ever stayed in. The customer service at check-in, the concierge (at all shifts, for each department) were top-notch. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was even champagne and chocolate covered strawberries at reception in the late afternoon. Any and all questions were answered in timely fashion. Location was perfect..within easy walking... The hotel is newly remodeled and renovated. The staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful; even at 2 am. We orginally booked just an overnight stay that turned into a two night stay. We made the last minute change and because the staff and hotel was so accomedating they didn't charge us for the second night!!!! Have to love that... More

We stayed here purposefully for its proximity to the SouthPark Mall for some end-of-trip shopping. If you are in town to see the main attractions of Charlotte, you may want to stay uptown, though then parking might cost you. This hotel was wonderful! Beautifully and tastefully decorated, wonderfully exquisite bedding, and great location (especially for shoppers). Starbucks coffee machine and nice restaurant. Within walking distance of some unique specialty shops. Southpark Mall just across the way. Definitely plan to return. More

I have stayed in this hotel on other occasions, do not remember seeing what I was greeted with, The attachment tells the story. Now all guys know that when using the toilet, splatters do occur even with perfect aim. Then to see the towels and hand towels basically right beside the toilet, this was not a good impression for me.... More
