I was leary of this hotel based on other reviews. Because it was so cheap and close to the airport -- and admittedly, because it was next to a Cracker Barrel, I booked one night for our arrival in Charlotte. This an older hotel with outside corridors that has been renovated. Rooms were clean but the shower area is a little small. We were missing a TV remote and the sink did not drain well but both issues were quickly and pleasantly resolved. Stayed here two nights with my family. It was okay, but not quite up to other La Quinta Inns where I have stayed. Appears to be an older motel that has been remodeled. Rooms are smallish, bathrooms are quite small. Breakfast bar was above average. All guest rooms are on outside walkways. Cracker Barrel restaurant immediately adjacent was handy. more
