Decent hotel, but not necessarily opulent. Would be great for a business trip or a few days' visit witht he family, but not where you could get pampered and not necessarily if you were in Charlotte as a tourist. Chose to stay here a second time and once again felt that the hotel staff showcased true southern hospitality. All were friendly and helpful, plus my room on the concierge level was huge and quiet.
