I find a coupon for them advertising a $30 rate plus tax. Place was fairly empty but appeared cleaner than listed in the other reviews. The clerk was nice and I checked in without any problems. The room was reasonably clean, no bad smells, everything worked, and I was not disturbed. It is a $30 hotel and you get what... More

I stay in high end hotels all the time. In fact, I refuse to stay in cheap places because its a given fact that all cheap places offer you a cheap rate for low quality products. Nothing wrong with that either. I needed to sleep for 3-4 hours and I did not feel the need to spend and arm and... More

We made reservations here and when we got there the whole place was overgrown in weeds, the Olympic swimming pool - NOT. There was not even air conditioning in the Lobby, I walked in and said you have got to be kidding me and turned around walked out and went and found another motel. Called and told the place that... Coupon book read, Largest Garden Hotel in NC, Olympic sized swimming pool. We arrived and although my gut said do not stay we decided to because it was storming and getting late. The manager on duty said he would give us a poolside room for no extra charge. We paid cash for the room and left to go get something... More

When we pulled in to the hotel we noticed no landscaping had been done in about a year. We had gotten reservations online so we decided to stay anyway. The lobby smelled like body odor, they had a parrot running around on the front desk and they could barely speak english. The room was a total mess. The dirtiest, nasty... More

Another reason to distrust the internet when it comes to representing motels and their ammenities. "Largest garden hotel in the southeast" they boast. Wow. A garden full of dead roses and other flower varieties, grass at least a foot tall (which prevents guests from using the broken volleyball net and/or the couple of picnic tables that sit crocked behind the... 2 words...awful...nastiness. Bathroom door had been busted in and wasn't even repaired...wouldn't even shut all the way. Nothing looked even remotely clean. Spend a little more $ on another hotel perhaps and have a great stay somewhere else. This place needs demolishing.

My sister and I were visiting Charlotte for a concert and found Country Hearth Inn through an online package deal. Since we're both graduate students, we thought that having a cheap place to stay (about $40) would be a smart idea. However, the place was shady and odd from the moment we pulled into the lot. When we were checking... More

My 74 year old Father and I were traveling to Gettysburg on I-65 from Pensacola,Florida and needed to stop over night to rest at a hotel. We ended up at the Country Hearth Inn- Charlotte , NC. After we checked in for two adjoining rooms we paid our money and drove around to the rooms 113. After entering the rooms... More
