Recently got back from a tour of the SE of the USA. My girlfriend and I visited about 15 different cities, so that means 15 different motels, spending one or two nights in each. This is lowest price hotel in charlotte downtown. I stay 2 night there. Very convenient location. Customer service was good too. No Parking fees !! I will stay again..cheap price.

I booked the Ascott Inn through Orbitz early in December of 2008 to stay one night on Dec. 27th, 2008. Orbitz gave me an estimated cost of $89 for the stay. A stay at the Ascot Inn is completely worth the experience for the use of the pool alone. While you may ask 'what pool?' at first glance , you will soon realize that the new 'garden' (complete with birdhouses for that backyard feel) is curiously shaped in a familiar rectangle and for some reason there are a few no diving... This is literally the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. We actually forfeited our money and drove 2 hours home. It is located right next to a strip club, the 2nd rule on the hotel rule list was "no prostitution". It was not sanitary at all. I had to fix the faucet on the jacuzzi myself after it leaked... First, I paid higher than the price quoted on Orbitz which according to the local cab driver was triple the normal cost of the rooms. You are about to make a terrible mistake!!! This hotel is a dump! The pictures of the rooms on the website do not look at all like the hotel. The hotel was something from a horror movie!!! I was charged for the room and did not even stay there. I could not stay in those conditions and canceled my reservation.

I stayed at ASCOT INN, Charlotte in Roman Suite, the room with Waterbed and Square Shaped Jacuzzi. It was a surprise i planned for my husband’s birthday. It was a wonderful experience staying there.
