Customer Service was poor. The wifi did not work at all. The room smelled like mildrew. After a couple of hours I could not take it. I was told since I been in the room more than 15 minutes, there was nothing she could do. Do not stay here. There are other cheap nicer non smelling mildew hotels around. I... More

This was suppose to be a simple hotel stay until our roof was fixed on our house , this turned into a nightmare , first of all the rooms smelt like weed, there was liquor bottles behind the night stand and worst of all the room was infested with fleas which left bite scars on my husband and grandson...I asked... I thought the other Brookwood Inn was bad until I came to this one. There are 3 main differences- the other Brookwood Inn located in Statesville was 200 dollars a week, this one is 217 dollars a week. The TVs here are old tube TVs whereas the other Brookwood Inn had flat screens. Then the 3rd and the biggest problem-... More

The manager gets drunk and calls in the middle of the night if you complain about service. She is rude and makes excuses instead of helping customers with complaints. We paid for a week in advance but left on the second night because of several incidents and was told we will not be refunded. We have even made a formal... More

Don't stay here unless you like to be swindled and insulted. They 'offer' free wifi which turns out to be nonexistent. If you complain they try to shout you down. Be careful to provide proof of your time of check in or they may refuse to refund you. The management of this hotel need to learn that if you treat... More

The very first thing I noticed this time around was the very clean pool. I did'nt swim but wish I could have.I have stayed here before many times. The room I get is second floor front side. Very clean!! The staff is always courteous and friendly. The area is just alright. But keep this in mind- all the other motels... More

The bathrooms were nasty, and the room had roaches. Disgusting!!! I kept my luggage on the bed, and I brought my own blanket.

No hairdryer, no coffee maker. boo-hoo. Had sink with counter, tub/shower/toilet, and TV that worked, and small refrigerator and microwave. Oh, and a bed I slept OK in. Ridiculously low price and worth every penny :) I only slept there and saved a lot of money. Outdoor pool looked OK and people were swimming. Coffee in the lobby until at... More
