We were here for a meeting at UNC. This is a wonderful hotel with lots of extras. We stayed in a King suite, which was large with a full kitchen, table, living area, bedroom, etc. The plasma TV swivelled so it could be viewed in the living area or from the bed. Great suite with granite countertops and large fridge. Flat screen tv which swiveled from bedroom area to sitting area. Great shower and bedding. One of our kids is at UNC and we needed a hotel for a weekend visit (last minute plan). The suite configuration clearly appealed to our family (2 teenagers) as did a very simple policy for "No Smoking" in all rooms. This hotel is new (HD TV in rooms) and the staff is friendly. My wife and I stayed at the Chapel Hill location December 7 to December 9; she is a heart patient who has been undergoing lots of health issues, so a trip was much needed, even if it was for just 3 days/2 nights. This place runs a con whereby they charge your credit card on departure $250 if you or a guest smokes. There's no "No Smoking" signs in the rooms. BEWARE! This rip-off. more
