I stayed at the Residence Inn for a couple days. It was for a business conference in its meeting room. Some aspects of the Inn that stand out. 1) It's a 20-minute cab ride from the RDU airport. Considering how expansive the Research Triangle is, that's about as close as one gets to the airport. 2) The hotel is set... More

This was our second trip to Residence Inn while visiting UNC Chapel Hill for a college visit. It did not disappoint either time! The rate was the same as other hotels that had 1/2 the amenities. The room has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen with a table AND a desk, and a bathroom with a sink outside of... More

We had a short stay here while visiting the UNC campus. The staff was very friendly from check in to the breakfast buffet. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the UNC campus and the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. My room was arranged very well, with a well-designed and appointed kitchenette (complete with dishwasher and garbage disposal), a nice desk, a small living room area, a bed area, nice-sized closet, and bathroom with bath. The ground plan was very smartly designed to feel like a microcosm of a home. The TV, which... More

Our family of four enjoyed staying here . . . sorta. The breakfast is good, and the room was well appointed and helpful with the extra sofa bed along with two queens. We were asked if we wanted 2nd or 3rd floor. I asked for 2nd and was happy I had because our wing didn't have an elevator. However, we... More

I spent one night here for a dance competition I was in town for. My only complaint was I couldn't stay longer! The hotel was very nice. The rate was more than reasonable for such a nice room. I stayed in a king studio and it was gorgeous. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was... More

The staff was friendly and the suite was clean. the breakfast options were good and varied from day to day- although scrambled eggs and hash browns were a constant! I have never gone wrong staying at a Marriott property and this hotel was no exception.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Chapel Hill for three nights when we were in town for a wedding that took place at the nearby North Carolina Botanical Gardens. The room was superb and the breakfast was especially great, with a huge variety of items including scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc. I definitely would stay again!

Delighted to stay here. Extensive breakfast buffet. Staff are attentive and helpful. Free wifi is most appreciated. Even on a crowded graduation weekend, there was plenty of convenient parking. But step carefully into the shower - slippery tub surface. Walls are a little thin - could use more soundproofing, but for such a busy weekend it was only a minor... More

I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the area (I travel here for work, sometimes three or four times per year, sometimes more); Residence Inn Chapel Hill is the best choice I've found. There are plenty of hotels immediately adjacent to the highways; in even the best of them, I hear the traffic all night, especially the overnight trucks.... More
