Whenever I travel anywhere near Chapel Hill I will take time to drive the extra distance to stay at this hotel. I have been going there for years and always leave happy and refreshed. The atmosphere is wonderful and enchanting... the service is top notch... the food is amazing... and all-in-all the prices are very reasonable. The is absolutely nothing... More

We typically stay at another, more centrally located hotel on my visits to Chapel Hill but it was sold out for this Homecoming football weekend. I did some research and booked the Siena. What a nice surprise! The youthful staff is energetic, pleasant and professional. Our room on the 4th floor was huge, eclectically decorated in a consistent Sienese fashion,... More

We just had the privilege of staying in the Siena Hotel. It's a lovely Italianate hotel in the Chapel Hill area, centrally located to some strip malls. There is a Whole Foods, several restaurants, and even a Massage Envy nearby. The UNC campus, and lots of other shops and restaurants, are just down the road. Nice, accommodating staff onsite, but... One of the finest hotels: large very comfortable rooms, plush beds, superb food (only ate breakfast) and honestly warm and very helpful staff including those cleaning, behind the desk, and serving in the restaurant. Wonderful hotel and just the right size (not too small but also not huge.)

Our 17th anniversary. Kids with trusted babysitter. Need to get away for one night. Loads of research. Decided on Siena. Great experience reserving room - discussed the romance package. Lorenzo was great, sounded excited and happy for us when he heard about the special night. Booked the package and excited this was going to be a special night. Got an... More

I am based in Washington, DC, but work for a company based nearby. So, I am in Durham often. I've stayed in almost every hotel nearby and have settled on The Siena as my home away from home. The decor is modern but not trendy. The staff is wonderful and care about the details.they have an amazing restaurant on site.... More

It is actually a lovely hotel. I would love to give them a rave review. However, house keeping needs some work. It is 9:20 a.m. I have just finished showering and brushing my teeth. I come out of the bathroom thinking it was my husband coming back from breakfast. I am completely naked ! The housekeeping staff is in my... More

Wonderful room, cheerful staff, and great food and drinks at the bar. A little gem. Close to UNC for our daughter, close enough to NC State for our son. We will be back!! Didn't check out gym facilities or other amenities, will next time.

This reservation came about at the last minute and I turned to TripAdvisor for suggestions. Found this location was close to my meeting spot so grabbed it. Was I ever so pleasantly surprised! Lovely garden entrance, felt like I was driving up to an Italian villa. Finishing touches are everywhere from streetside piazza setting with umbrellas and tables, fountain, etc.... More
