Mixed feelings, the room was clean, but not the details. Floors looked like they could have used a scrubbing. Couch stained, I flipped the cushions over and chairs looked dengy. Room smelled musty. Sticky type film feeling on the master bedroom carpet. Dead bugs in the lighting fixture over dining table. Needed maintenance on the details. Kitchen counter had a... More

The scenery and weather in this beautiful part of the country brings us back every couple of years. Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley is run by SPM Resorts. After driving twelve hours, my family checked in at 4pm on Friday, and the offices close for the weekend at 5pm. Upon driving to our unit, and opening the door, we were immediately... More

All around excellent! The photos on the website are exact. Clean, updated, friendly staff, large living area. Master suite was perfect. Location is perfect year round and what a great value for the money. Much more than we expected! Can't wait to stay again!

Our 2 bedroom unit was a tri-level with the 2nd bedroom and bath on the level we entered, the living and kitchen on the upper level 6 steps up, and the master bedroom and bath on the bottom 7 steps down. The master bedroom was huge (with a large bath) occupying the bottom floor. The living area was large with... More

We rented a two bedroom at Foxhunt, October 19-22. The area is very nice and our unit was near a little pond. The overall lay out of the unit was great...My only concern was the musty odor of the unit. We did start a fire in the fireplace in hopes that would alleviate the issue..it did help with the upstairs... More

The property is sprawling and includes access to a small lake with paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, fishing boats and fishing tackle rentals. The beach includes a roped off area and an old fashion float that the kids loved swimming out to and playing on with the many other kids vacationing at the property. it also has a great playground and... We had a wonderful visit to Sapphire Valley this spring. Charming community with BEAUTIFUL waterfalls and exciting trails. I can only imagine how much fun our visit would have been if the weather had been warm enough to swim! We were challeneged trying to locate Foxhunt and the Check In office on 64... Peaceful setting. Our unit on a lake. Clean and renovated. Outstanding location for day trips. Resort check-in not directly on the property. Ingles Supermarket only 2 miles away. Many golf courses near by.
