Can't beat this best western for price and location whatever day of the week you're traveling. Raleigh area tends to have a wide spectrum of prices for motel rooms. This best western seems to always have great prices when no one else does! It's basic, clean and quiet. Breakfast not the best selection, but certainly not the worst. Clean enough... more

We picked this hotel because we saw on the website it was a 'pet friendly hotel'....We arrived at reception to an unfriendly woman who took our information and began check-in procedure. All the while standing in front of her with a cat in his carrier in plain view...after charging the room we were THEN told they are only a DOG... more

This hotel was so horrible that I left at 11pm with 4 years old in nightgown. Is this how a Best Western is?This one was horrible and hotewire sold it for a 3 stars hotel. The (otherwise pretty in old style) pool had some dirty areas ie hair items & trash. We were surrounded by 20 abnoxious incontrolled and inconsiderate... more

The hotel's location is very convenient to NCSU. The woman who checked us in was efficient, but not friendly at alll. We were surprised to find there was no elevator in the hotel and it was a pain to drag the luggage up. The room was very musty, as if no one had stayed there in months. Hotel and furnishings... more

This hotel shows major sign of age. The first room we had smelled of mold and smoke, although it was a non-smoking room. The manager did allow us to change rooms with no hesitation. Maid service is only available on Monday and Thurs. If you have excess trash you need to take it out to the dumpster yourself. I noticed... more

This place is fine if you have a car, and you are not too particular about details. The check-in staff could be more friendly. The breakfast is standard. The rooms are fine -- they could be better soundproofed (if there are jerks in the next room). Do not let the staff call you a taxi - the staff gets a... more

This was a decent place to spend a couple of nights. However, there was no elevator which was a bit odd and inconvenient for handling baggage. The staff is OK but not as friendly as in other Best Western locations. more

This hotel was very difficult to get into since it looks like you are entering the Days Inn and the Best Western is in the back. After circling the area during rush hour and finally arriving at the front desk, the clerk was unfriendly and not helpful. The room was nice with a kitchenette; eventhough I did not need it... more

This BW is located at US 1 and the I-40 beltway. There really is nothing within walking distance. If you do not have a car, I would think twice about staying here. Taking a taxi is possible, but if you let the desk call Express Cab, the man at the desk gets a kick-back, and in essence, you pay this.... more
