Even though our New Years celebration culminated with the Mt. Olive Pickle Drop, meaning that we were done by a few minutes past 7pm local time, there was little chance that we would make it home Sunday night. That's one of the problems with going somewhere that's 3 hours away. If we had started there we might have made it... more

I was greeted and checked right away and told of all the facilites including my complimentary drink at the bar. The elevators are in the center of the hotel away... more

Often you read reviews and come to a conclusion as to what are your expectations. We had two rooms which were lovely - young adults, married couple, single mothers and one teenager. Check-in was a breeze. The lobby was very appealing with lush greens, waterfall, and southern hospitality. The custom breakfast was exquisite. Our only disadvantage, we were caught up... more

We stayed here on our way down to Myrtle Beach on July 15, 2008. With two adults and three kids we try to stay at Embassy Suites Hotels with their large two room suites. We are used to the large spacious rooms at Embassy Suites but were pleasantly surprised at how much larger the rooms were at this Embassy Suites... more

We stayed at the hotel with our daughter's softball team which was participating in a tournament. This hotel was great for that purpose. I'm not so sure I would have wanted to be a guest there otherwise during this time! There were about 6-7 other teams staying at the hotel as well. The staff were very courteous and helpful, check-in... more

We stayed here with our three young children. The rooms were clean and suited our needs. There is a great free breakfast you will definitely want to take advantage of and the complimentary drinks in the evening. Our only complaints were that the swimming pool area was extremely slick and that they do not offer free internet access. Overall though... more

Urg. What a nightmare. First off, they have the worst selection of TV channels ever...there are only, like, 10 and they are GRAINY. Also, there is no free Internet. You have to PAY FOR WIRELESS ACCESS. Not that bad, yet. In the morning, we got up to go to get a complimentary breakfast at 9:45. The times for breakfast were... more

Great service and nice setting but…. A major refurbishment is needed of both soft and hard goods. Avoid the weekends if you want piece and quite! This hotel truly needs some loving care. A great hotel but the rooms smell kind of funky and there are lots of crumbs and dust. Good staff and service but bad breakfasts. Watch out... more

I stayed here the last week of April for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice bed, great amenities, and excellent cooked- to-order breakfasts. Good location-close to airport, very good cheesesteak diner across the street (up the hill). more
