The Beacon House was quant and pleasant. Ken and I enjoyed our stay and the nearness of the beach and boardwalk. We were able to fly kites. We recommend the 'Shuckin Shack' for shrimp and 'Surf and Kite' for all your beach needs. We found the Innkeepers at the Beacon House to be great breakfast cooks along with being so very helpful. At the same time they were not intrusive or hovering! The room, while a little small, was quiet, comfortable and clean. Our second floor room (by choice) meant that we had to enter up the back stairs which wasn't always convenient.... more

It is a place to feel home. Since we don't like hotels, it was a very good choice to stay at the Beacon House.
