A daughter was a senior in high school last year and her no. 1 choice for senior photos was Mountain Springs Cabins. It is very scenic and very well kept. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. We look forward to another trip this year. Our son is now a senior and may not mind having his picture taken in... More

We have loved this place for many years and were so pleased to share it with our grandsons. As always the cabin was clean , well stocked and you can tell it is taken care of with pride. Our grands loved fishing in the creek, as well as just exploring. The large play area was also a big hit. They... More

We spent a week at Mountain Springs Cabins with a family of 45 people. We all enjoyed having private accommodations as well as full, kitchens and bathrooms. We used the picnic pavilion as a gathering spot for meals, games and visiting. Easy access to Asheville and surrounding area. We would surely return!

We had a very nice time visiting the Asheville area with our cabin as a jumping off point for a week. We were very nicely surpassed to get to the Cricket cabin and have a sign hanging by the door wishing us a happy anniversary. The lighting could have been better in the cabin. I understand why there wasn't any... More

Will definitely be back to this gem. Low key, laid-back and off the beaten path while still close to plenty of convenient locations. We visited in August 2015 and had the best time fishing in the stream, reading in the hammock and enjoying the fabulous weather.

There are so many great things to say about this place.....from the cabin's sweet character to the beauty of the grounds. Fireflies, firepits, creek fishing, and the list goes on and on. The staff was wonderful and Kate was extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. You can not beat this location!!! Close to everything yet you feel like you have... More

My husband and I wanted a place to relax with easy access to pet-friendly hiking so we could bring our two dogs. We were not familiar with the area and chose Mountain Springs online. It was perfect for us! It had everything you could need, though we never even tried to turn on the TV or use the fireplace. The... More

We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it, however times have changed. The management is in "Airline mode" nickle and dimming its guests for anything they can. My biggest complaint is of a new fee they created once we got there, $10 per person, per day for anyone who came to visit for more then 15min on the... More

Dear Scott B, As you know, being a regular guest at Mountain Springs, our "Group" activities state up front that we charge on a per person basis for those not staying on the property. This policy has always been in place as we must control the public pressure to visit the property. Our grounds are private property and very enticing,... More

My husband and I stayed at Mountain Springs Cabins 4 nights earlier this month. Our experience was great! We stayed in Mockingbird, a one room cabin with an open floor plan. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The cabin overlooked a "perfect" creek; its wide and very easily accessible. While the creek was the main draw... More

With 2 little ones we were all ready for a long weekend and the cabin was perfect - the staff were very friendly, the cabin clean and equipped with everything you can think of and things you wouldn't, like a super friendly cat which our 2 year old was fascinated by, as it was hanging around on the porch each...
