Loved every minute! Clean and cozy! This was our first B&B experience, but it won't be our last! Rick and Tom are incredible hosts and the breakfast is impeccable! We stayed in the Captain's Room in the Inn, but honestly I don't think you could go wrong with any room. We had in room massages which were a definite plus... More

This B and B is very well run. The room we had was the Captains room at the main inn. Very clean, gas fireplace worked great. We pulled the sofa up close. Very romantic for our 42nd wedding anniversary! King size bed very comfy with good bedding. Breakfast was awesome in a beautiful dining room. See the photos. But visit... More

We had the good fortune to rent three of the cabins for the 10 of us at the last minute over the Thanksgiving holiday. Rick and Tom were great hosts and bent over backwards to accommodate us. They even had us down to the inn on Saturday night to watch a college football game in the great room! We will... More

I went to Engadine this month with a group of friends/colleagues for an annual women's leadership retreat. We took over all of the cabins and had a fabulous time. Tom and Rick (the proprietors) were very accommodating, helpful, and fun. Breakfast was fantastic, the views were top notch, and even with the rainy weather we had a fabulous time. They... More

We stayed with Tom and Rick for the weekend along with another couple. The Inn was really busy that weekend. The dinning room was completely booked for breakfast. Tom and Rick made room at the kitchen table. Note: ask to be seated in the kitchen if available, this is where the magic happens. The rooms were neat and very clean.... More

We stayed in the Cherokee(?) cabin for the weekend and got breakfast one morning in the inn. It was so worth the trek down the hill. The hosts were so attentive and the food was amazing. The bacon is one of those things you just have to experience, so make sure you eat at the inn if you get a... More

Fall is a great time to visit and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! But we need to thank you as well! Since we bought the Inn over a year ago, we had been trying to get a photo of the hot air balloons passing overhead. Your "heads up" gave us the chance to fulfill our wish! Come... More

We stayed in the Cabins at Engadine Inn at Honey Hill and had a wonderful stay. The Cabin was quaint but well appointed. We had the two bedroom unit--one upstairs and one on the main floor. Noise tended to travel throughout the cabin but that didn't really bother us. Engadine is convenient to Asheville and the Biltmore, making it an... More

Thanks so much for taking time to tell us about your stay at Engadine. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Full disclosure: The bacon recipe is one we inherited from the previous owners...it's Gretchen's famous bacon! When we bought the Inn last year, the first question repeat guests asked was whether or not we would continue... More

What a wonderful time the wife and I had at the Engadine Inn & Cabins. Hosts Tom and Rick go out of their way to make everyone feel special and like an invited guest into their home. Yes, their home. It's easy to forget that a B & B is not only a special place to spend a few evenings... More

Tom and I are THRILLED to hear this! As we celebrate the first anniversary of our arrival in Asheville and the purchased of Engadine, we are pleased to hear that our offering of two, unique lodging options...elegant rooms in our historic Inn and charming and cozy mountain cabins...is being well received by our guests. We really do want people to... More

We rented the adorable rustic "Looking Glass" cabin and it was so comfy and inviting! An absolutely beautiful view and so convenient to downtown Asheville. We love downtown but it can very noisy at night. This place will surround you in peace and quiet for a great night sleep with fresh air and good vibes galore!

As a wedding planner observed recently when visiting Engadine, "the views don't suck"! As the owners of Engadine, Tom and I would agree. But since we might be a bit prejudiced, it's good to hear from a paying guest that they, too, enjoyed the spectacular views. We are so glad that the peace and serenity found here at the foot... The hosts were so helpful in booking a one-night, weekend stay. They helped us get situated in the "Cherokee" cabin. The hosts also directed us to a great place behind the cabins to watch the sunset. It is a beautiful property west of Asheville just outside of town. It was severely less expensive than the hotels in town for a... More

Wow! So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the Cherokee Cabin is special and the view from "Honey Hill" of the mountains to the west is pretty dramatic at sunset. And, since Asheville is so close by, it's nice that guests can enjoy both "country" and "city" experiences while visiting with us. Tom and I feel blessed that... More
