Proprieters Joe and Judy were delightful and did not let us leave hungry. If you're traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this place is just a few miles removed from where North Carolina highway 151 dead ends into the Parkway on the Mount Pisgah Ridge section. The stream that runs through the property, very calming.

My husband & I spent 1 night during our brief visit to the Asheville area...a quick weekend get-a-way. Stayed in the Green room, comfy king bed, loved sleeping with the windows open, cool Fall mountain air and sounds of the creek. Room opens out to 2nd floor covered porch......a great place for evening wine and morning coffee. Breakfast included fresh... More

Not easy to find this place. It is at the end of a small side road and over a bridge but once you do you are in for a treat. Not a flashy B&B but the owners are awesome. Two of the nicest people my wife and I have ever stayed with. We stayed in a very large room with... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Rock Laurel Bed and Breakfast two times so far and we are planning another stay. The first time was in December 2012 for the Christmas holiday and the most recent was in May 2014 for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Both were truly a phenomenal experience. We stayed in their Biltmore Suite, which... More

Joe and Judy really know how to make you feel so special. I also loved the kitties-Gizmo and Garfield and their lovely pom-Cricket who looks like a little Teddy Bear!! The beds are so comfortable and the view of the creek which was way up do to the rain was lovely and the sound of the water rushing helped us... More

The tranquility and serenity that we experienced during our stay is beyond words. The plush Biltmore room, the rushing of the room side brook and the spring blossom scent in the air prompted immediate relaxation. The proprietress, Judy and Joe were welcoming and engaging. The homemade biscuits were melt in your mouth delectable.

Only stayed 1 night on our way to the mountains, but felt like family! You won't find better people than Joe and Judy. Situated at the end of the small road, mountains on all sides, little babbling brook, wrap around porch (all rooms have access doors) on both levels makes for a great getaway. Five star breakfast and good stories... More

We stayed at Rock Laurel for 3 nights to explore the Ashville area. The property is in a very remote location by a babbling stream. Lovely situation although a little away from restaurants etc. Joe and Judy were exceptional hosts and plied us with (free) wine and beer. Joe always has a story and is very willing to tell it,... My wife and I stayed at this delightful B&B for two August nights while visiting the Vanderbilt Mansion and friends in Asheville. Judy and Joe are consumate hosts and prepared the most incredible breakfasts both mornings. Our bedroom was very spacious and quiet, with just the sound of an adjacent stream to lull us to sleep. Highly recommended and great... More

Stayed one night. Close to Ashville, great welcoming hosts, best breakfast I’ve ever had at B & B. A great start to our vacation in Western North Carolina. Would love to go back:)
