This is a micro-hotel that is nicely furnished. The Sunflower room was as described with a balcony overlooking Pamlico Sound and a tub with jets. Breakfast that came with the room charge was excellent. We had dinner at the inn one night and it was also very good--better than I would have expected. The other amenities include a pool, dock,... We had a quick getaway for our Anniversary and it was our first time to the Outer Banks. Since most house rentals are week minimums, this was absolutely perfect for a two night stay. The staff is awesome- fun, inviting, and helpful. They make it feel like a Bed & Breakfast and also a nice hotel at the same time.... More

We stayed only one night in the summer so could not take advantage of much of what the Inn may offer, however the room we had (Oleander room) was nice and comfortable except THERE IS NO INDIVIDUAL THERMOSTAT FOR ANY ROOM. You are at the mercy of a central thermostat that is set to freeze. When paying $300 per night... More

We stayed in the Lily room for our 20th anniversary this past weekend. We were excited that we had received a complimentary upgrade, but ended up being very disappointed in the location of the room. It was a lovely room and we enjoyed our stay, EXCEPT for when we were trying to sleep at night. Around midnight and after both... More

While we are glad this guest loved our food, staff and views, we feel awful their sleep was interrupted. The issue, however, was not lack of sound isolation. We invite readers to check historic reviews to confirm that there are few comments regarding noise, and many on peacefulness and quiet. The very few comments on noise are related to specific... Lovely room with a view~amazing food~outstanding service! My husband and I celebrated our 24th anniversary with a 3 night stay @ The Inn On Pamlico Sound. We stayed in the pretty, blue Oleander Room which is located in the east building on the second floor. Our stay also coincided with the recovery of my foot surgery, so I was a... More

My husband and I absolutely loved celebrating our honeymoon at the Inn at Pamlico Sound. We spent a blissful 8 days at the inn, and found the Turn Key Package (breakfast, picnic lunch, dinner & wine included) a wonderful decision, as it allowed us to enjoy the inn and Hattaras Island with little decisions to make except what wine to... The inn was a fantastic stay! The property, food, and staff hospitality was outstanding! The dock out into the sound was the perfect location for our engagement! Some things that really stood out to us: - FABULOUS breakfast included with your stay! The view from the restaurant is breathtaking! The first morning we stayed the owner, Steve, walked in and... This is a great boutique hotel where we spent 2 nights- very relaxed atmosphere and lovely setting. Staff great and so many little extras are included- snacks, sodas, great quality toiletries etc. The restaurant is outstanding- completely unexpected for this area and some of the best food we have had in our 7 years living in the USA. We only... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to wrap up our time on the Outer Banks. We had the Jasmin room which was clean and quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the live music downstairs both nights and dined with them for breakfast in the mornings. Each and every one of the staff was very... More
