Had a lovely stay at the Cape Hatteras B & B, celebrating 20th anniversary in late August. Stayed in Gloria, which was very clean and nicely decorated. Easy access to the beach with everything you need right on the premises (towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes, even bug spray!). Enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and exploring local restaurants. Virginia and Jed are very friendly... More

When I began researching B&Bs in the OBX area, Cape Hatteras B&B caught my attention because their rooms were by far the nicest rooms I had seen! The decor is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and everything has been updated. Then you meet Virginia and Jed and realize you want to be a regular guest because you instantly feel at... More

Cindy & I were scheduled for the first 10 days of July to be at CHB&B and visit the OBX for our second time. Unfortunately Hurricane Arthur decided to make an appearance in early July also which prompted evacuations of Hatteras Island. Jed and Virginia were incredibley gracious and understanding during this time. When we finally returned we were welcomed... More

We stayed for 1 week in July and had an incredible time! This b&b gets top marks for thinking of everything. They have bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, coolers, towels and even sunscreen if you need. There is a BBQ to use if you like. Love the outside deck to watch sunsets. The room was immaculate and extremely well cared... More

If I could I would give CHB&B 10 stars. Not only were the rooms spotless upon our arrival, the first ting i noticed was it did not have that typical beach room musty smell. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Virginia and Anna can really cook. I can't wait to have another BLT. Both Virginia and Jed made us feel right at... More

We recently returned from our second outstanding stay at Cape Hatteras B&B. We've stayed in Gloria both times. It was clean and fresh before, but has gotten even another upgrade. We really like the new king bed setup….it was super comfortable and somehow made the room feel bigger than before. Jed, Virginia and their entire staff really know what they're... More

Cape Hatteras Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful little place and Virginia was very welcoming! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip! Also, each room has its own entrance from the outside which was very wonderful and there are bikes available to use on a first come, first serve basis. They also provided beach towels (which... More

We spent 5 nights in Gloria in late June. Gloria was a nice choice for us. It is handy to parking on the first floor. The room was clean, recently redecorated, and quiet. We enjoyed reading in the sunrom off the breakfast area. It is a lovely inviting area. The shared deck off the sunrrom is uncovered and entirely in... More

My husband and I spent five nights here and we had the best experience! Virginia and Jed (and of course little Hank!) were gracious hosts and provided us with everything we needed to have a great time. The room we stayed in was Gloria and it was SO comfortable. The king sized mattress was awesome. The room was modern and... More

Great beach escape at the Cape Hatteras Bed and Breakfast. Virginia and Jed our hosts thought of everything we could possibly need. The breakfasts were amazing. We stayed in the Emily and were very comfortable. The room was super clean and the bed linens were crisp and clean. The ocean was just a short walk away. Thanks for the great... More
