Booked the same day as traveling. We couldn't make it by the time they were closing so the lady made arrangements. When arriving we were amazed on how clean/nice the room was. We stayed in 12 and it was amazing. The next day we had issues with our fridge not being cold. So the guy unplugged and gave us a mini... More

It was no problem accommodating you with getting your room ready, Heather -- we're just glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Thanks for bringing the fridge to our attention. The last thing we'd want is for a major appliance to stop working for you, so we're glad we got it back up-and-running for you. Thanks for staying with us... More

We stayed here one night on our way into Ocracoke. When we called in the evening and I told the woman that we would not be arriving til 11pm she mentioned they would be closed but she was willing to make it work and figured something out for us. The room was nicely updated and super clean. It was spacious... More

We stayed at Cape Pines for our family vacation. We had room 12 and it was very clean and comfortable. The beds was comfy as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is right by the main road but the traffic did not bother us. We found that it was still quite and very cozy. The pool was... More

Stayed a week at Cape Pines Motel. Thought it would be closer to the beach. The water in shower would automatically go cold without any adjustment. Parking was tight. The bed was great! Very comfortable. Right across the street from Conners grocery in Buxton.

It's surprising the water would automatically go cold, so we'll be sure to look into that. We're glad that didn't stop you from enjoying your stay, though. Thanks for staying with us -- we hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip! Safe travels, Angie & Bill R.- Owners More

clean, professionally run, friendly staff and friendly guests, a non big box style, appropriate for the lower outer banks, motor lodge. nice pool and the best grocery store, sundry needs store for many miles right across the street that one can walk to. I accidently left my phone and computer charges in my room and the owners sent to me... More

Stayed here with my family for 4 days in June. Hotel staff and management were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Pool area was very nice - my son could have stayed here for the entire trip. Room was fine and was as pictured. Could use an upgrade on the TVs though, as the one in our room was very... More

Motel was pet freindly and the rooms were clean, but the motel over-all could use a good updating. The price that we paid for one night was very high, but we were stuck as we had a dog with us and pet friendly places are very hard to find on the Outer Banks.

Stayed one night on our way to Ocracoke. Could have stay longer. Not fancy. Clean spacious rooms, a very good value, friendly staff. Great location. Nice pool. Close to the Orange Blossom bakery which is a must visit.
