We stayed for three nights this summer and had a lovely time! This is the perfect place for families with kids of all ages as it allows you to spend lots of relaxed, quality time together. The ranch is located in the mountains amidst a national forest with stunning views. We were here in August and the weather was perfect... More

Beautiful location with great mountain views from the porch. Very nice staff. Best for first time dude ranch-goers and families with younger children. Families are kept together regardless of ability level, so good place for new riders or multi-generational groups looking for together time, rather than intense riding time.

I went to Clear Creek on my own and it was amazing. It was by far the most relaxing vacation ever. All of the staff from Marci, Jackie, Mike the Chef and the wranglers - Rebecca, Lindsey (x2), Anthony, Melissa, Amy, Emily, Johann and Avery were terrific. I had a horse for a long time and they allowed me to... More

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Clear Creek Ranch and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the trip. We had discussed the idea of taking the kids (6 & almost 10) to Disneyworld but I didn't want to spend a lot of money to have to either have to shell out more money when the... More

Recently stayed a week with grandkids - 11,12- who had never ridden and now have 2 addicts! So sad to leave. Fabulous time: young wranglers experienced and couldn't have been nicer. Focus on twice daily rides but lot of other activities . Family style dinning encouraged getting to know other families- some single and older folk with no kids all... More

Clear Creek Ranch is a great place. Beautiful setting and accommodations. The horses are gentle and the wranglers are awesome. Very children oriented with lots of activities from riding, karaoke, Tubing, hay rides and lots more. The food is excellent with Mike a a great chef! All the staff are friendly. Great family get away.

Great vacation with family, including our grandchildren ages 8 to 15. Lots of activities designed specifically for families together, as well as separately for the adults and children. Staff clearly is focused on guests having a good time - and they seemed to enjoy their "work" at the same time. Food is great also. Highly recommended!!

what can I say.. we had a truly memorable beginning to our American holiday in May. We were very early season and every afternoon and most evenings we had rain, so we didn't have much to do after dinner. However this does not take anything from our experience. we still had two rides a day, fishing etc. The kitchen staff... More

My husband and I took our 3 children (ages 8,11,13) for a 4 night vacation. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this ranch. The ranch is set in the middle of the Pisgah National Forest in a very remote area. Driving in was breath taking - absolute beauty everywhere you turn. Upon arrival, Marcy got us very quickly checked... More

CCR was A great getaway! Super staff (wranglers Johann, Rebecca, Lyndsey x2, Avery, Emily, Anthony) navigated a great set of trails and assigned the right horses to the right riders- As an experienced rider had a great time on Harley and my husband as a beginner had a great time on Duke. We even rode in the pouring rain! Trails... More
