A peaceful B&B with owners who understand the right balance of taking great care of you but respecting your privacy and not being intrusive. Steve and Eva were gracious hosts, our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! Very convenient to hiking, biking, the Nantahala River, and the awesome little town of Bryson City.... More

This trip was very special to us since it was our honeymoon. The husband and wife team were extremely friendly, curtious and helpful. The food each morning was excellent and we had such a great time. The weather was awesome and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We will stay again in the near future. Thanks again

This inn, in the quaint little town of Bryson City, NC, is the perfect getaway. Our room was spotless, our bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was "WOW" every morning. The proprietor, Steve, anticipated our every need, but was also unobtrusive and we felt relaxed in this home. The grounds are lovely and we look forward to returning when we... More

The rooms were clean, the food was average...great location..that is about all I can say. The Innkeepers covered the basics but nothing above. A husband and wife team are the Innkeepers. We met the husband upon arrival and only again to ensure payment the day before our departure. We never met the wife...nor did we get a "thank you, come... More

The innkeepers are really lovely people and endeavor to make your stay with them as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The breakfasts were delicious; the best sausage gravy I've ever had! We really enjoyed chatting with Robin, housekeeper extraordinaire, about a variety of subjects. We stayed two days in the "tunnel and trestles" room and found it very comfortable...the balcony... The server, Robin was very unaccommodating and so were the owners (I later spoke to Eva also)... I asked for milk to drink with my breakfast. It was just "No we don't serve or keep milk". When I asked if milk would be available the next day for breakfast, both owner and server said no. There is a sign in... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. In the first place, Robin has been with us for 5 years and not one person has ever said that she was anything BUT extremely accommodating and helpful I, Eva, never spoke to this woman. Our website clearly states that we serve a hot beverage and juice with breakfast. We... More

This Inn is truly a gem! Steve and Eva were wonderful hosts during our stay and were very helpful with information for the area. Our room (Tunnels & Trestles) was so cozy and comfortable. The Inn was very quiet and the meals were fantastic. Very centrally located to downtown and the entrance to the National Park as well as a... More

What a wonderful four-day-weekend! We went away for our Anniversary and my birthday with some of our dearest friends; What a blessing it was! We stayed at the Folkestone Inn, looking for a reprieve from the daily grind of technology, work and worries. All I can say is we found it! Clean, Classy and Quaint Sophistication, with gourmet breakfasts is... More

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions. We have experienced the grand hospitality of the owners and staff on each and every occasion. The rooms are delightful, not haughty. The food is excellent and this mountain gem is nestled at the trail-head of a georgious mountain park. If you like nature, need to relax, or just want... More
