We only stayed 1 night, but we were pleased with our room, it was very clean and comfortable. If you're looking for 5 star luxury, this is not the place. If you want clean, comfortable, affordable with great river views, then this is the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back to stay again. (Stayed... More

If you are a biker this is the place to stay . That is not to say they only cater to bikers, but the place is perfect . My wife and I stay there this past September during wings over the smokes. There was about 12 couples staying there. The fire pit what was going every night down by the... More

do you remember the motels along the old two lane highways. Here it is. Friendly owners and very clean but don't think you are at the Ritz. There was an extension cord on the night stand to charge your phone( I had to laugh) but let's face it, there were no cellphone iPads etc back when those motels were popular.... More

Not so much a charming retro motor court, as some have suggested, but a place that's grown pretty long in the tooth. The price may be reasonable, the river out back is beautiful, and the place is clean - but I'd rather pay $10 or $20 more for newer beds and furniture that doesn't look like it came from a... More

This was a homey place--reminiscent of the motor lodges I stayed in while on family road trips in the 70's. The location is lovely, right next to the river and an easy drive to both Bryson City and Cherokee. The pool was a great addition to cool down after a hot summer's day tripping through the area. The family room... More

OK first let's put to bed what this motel isn't. It's not an Embassy Suites. It's not even a Days Inn. It is in fact a mom-and-pop, by the side of the road, 1950's motel. Except, you get a flat screen TV, a microwave & fridge, & AC (which you certainly didnt get in the 50's). You also get a... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Bryson City. The rooms were small (for five of us!) but comfortable enough for a couple of nights. It was clean, cool and a friendly place to stay. The pool was lovely and the kids loved having the outdoor open fire to toast their marshmallows on! It was a good stopping point and enabled... More

This was a trip back in time for me. It reminds me of the motels my family stayed in back in the 1950s.A couple, Kathy and Blain have done an excellent job in updating and caring for it. They purchased it seven years ago.You have a choice of staying in rooms near the pool ($65) or on the river($75) The... More

I took my wife on vacation to Two Rivers Lodge from 8/10/14-8/12/14. This is an awesome place to stay. Great privately owned hotel. The owners are very friendly and he even came out and introduced himself and I explained that I had came with a group four years ago and he remembered us. This place is very reasonably priced and... This was my second stay at Two Rivers Lodge. It is even improved from last time. The river bank area is greatly improved by a covered fire pit area with picnic tables, gliders, and a charcoal grill. And just like last time they have a campfire going each night for enjoying. Same as before the room was clean and everything... More
