On a recent trip meandering through the mountains, my daughter and I ran into difficulty finding a room late in the day. When driving through Bryson, City, we saw the Rosewood Inn had rooms available. The woman at the desk was so friendly and escorted us personally to our rooms in this lovely old fashioned motel. Yes, it was '50s... More

We stayed here one night on a trip covering 4 states and 10 different hotels/inns. We actually couldn't find anywhere else to stay in Bryson city as we hadn't prebooked trying to keep our itinerary flexible. But it was a Friday night and much busier than we expected. Too be fair, the beds were comfortable enough but the bedding looks... More

Owner was great, very clean, just nothing fancy. Very affordable! We are used to staying in much fancier places, but some of them aren't as clean as this place ! We would definately stay here again. We were here for the train ride to natahala, which was a great experience also!

Nice little quiet place right on the water. Place was very clean and beds did not hurt my back, which is a huge plus for me. Only thing I would suggest is that the owner buy some new blankets and bedspreads. I work in the hotel industry and I really enjoyed stayin here. Will come back.

As most others have said - older place. But VERY clean! We had a room overlooking the river. Orig. we had a room off to the side - but seeing a "river" room was available we asked Pat if we could be moved. She was concerned that we might find the bathroom to be too small and showed us the... More

Checked in 8/21 and decided to spend 2 nights after seeing our room. Clean, comfortable and a private backporch overlooking the river. The ower, Pat, is very gracious and most helpful with information. Very convenient and comfortable walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

enjoyed room on river. Park in front of room. WiFI. Easy walk to resturants a block or 2 away. Love the sound of the train. Easy access to Smoky MT Nat. Park.

Second stay and again it was great. My room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well! I have paid twice what I have paid here and gotten half the quality. Location is excellent as the town centre is a mere 4-5 minute pleasant walk away. The road nearby is not an intrusion or a problem. Nicely laid out with... More

We have stayed at the Rosewood Inn for many years. There is nothing fancy about it, and it is not technologically updated. It has rocking chair front porches and a pool. It is very convenient and inexpensive (about 1/3 to 1/4 of many other motels in the area). The owner, Ms. Smith, is very cordial and helpful. Dining and shopping... More

My wife and I always read reviews before we book any hotels, With this one wasn't any different, the reviews are somewhat fair. We had a great time, Just like everyone says it;s a bit dated but very clean! There is nothing that we hate more than inns that are ugly, dirty and smelly, this one, you don't have to... More
