My husband and I loved staying here. It was so quiet and relaxing. The river out back was great. My husband fished all afternoon and I sat by the pool. No one bothered us. I called to make a reservation about 4 weeks ago for one night. 2 weeks later we decided to stay an extra night and since that time, I have been calling every day to see if we can extend the reservation for one night. Very much old school/ old fashion hotel but it works. Decent bathrooms, quiet enough, great back porch on river, small bathroom but good shower experience. Good location for Bryson/Cherokee/Smokies. Good alternative to corporate chain if you are on a budget. more

Lloyd's on the River is a perfect non-chain motel near the Smokies but away from the congestion of Bryson City and Cherokee.
