We booked a room here on a recent trip to Bryson City based on Tripadvisor Reviews and I have to say: we were disappointed. Yes, the place is quiet. The view from the backporch is peaceful. The manager was friendly. I appreciate rustic but this place seemed plain uncared for, musty and in desperate need of updating. The décor was... More

Thank you for your review. We have in fact undergone extensive renovations on 21 of our 25 rooms. You must have been in one of the four we haven't gotten to yet and sorry for that. We wish you would have said something while you were still here as we could have solved any issue you may have had. We... More

We expected Lloyd’s to be rustic and quaint and, sure, the porch overlooking the river, the swing for 2, the friendliness of the owner, the comfortable bed, all this was great, BUT … our room had supposedly been updated and still so many things needed improvement: the walls were paper-thin and we could hear the neighbors’TV even when the sound... This was exactly what we were looking for! Retro charm, with modern conveniences - and very, very clean! It's a quick drive into Cherokee or Bryson City and the National Park is close by. It's right on the banks of the river, with a peaceful back porch. We swam in the cool water and sat out there late into the... More

Stayed there 2 nights and it was enjoyable. The view of the river from our back porch was great. Overall a great time. Close to Bryson city and everything else in the area. They are updating there rooms and we found them to be clean and nice. Would stay there agin next time in the area.

We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms. They were clean, comfortable and reasonable. We stayed upstairs with plenty of windows and light in the morning. medium sized refrigerator for a hotel. We arrived very late at night, but the owners had everything prepared and ready for us, so we could just go to our room. Excellent people to... More

Beds were comfortable and clean, AC worked great, fridge was nice size, not the tiny ones many places have. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Being on the river was nice. The back porch has a rail from one end to the other and I could not get to the river from my room without going to the opposite end... More

If you are looking for a modern, fully appointed, luxury accommodation, this is not it. This is a comfortable quiet little country inn directly on the banks of the Tuckasegee River just outside Bryson City. The beds are comfortable, the amenities are fine. The view is exceptional. Looking out your window and seeing fly fishermen wading in the river and... More

My friend and I came to Bryson City by motorcycle from Jacksonville, FL. I picked this place on reviews AND price. It is in an excellent location for ALL the great motorcycle rides; like the Blue Ridge Pkwy, The Dragon and Moonshiner's Hwy. This Inn was built in the 1920's, so it has an interesting but fun demeanor. It is... More

I found this place through word of mouth. It is a great little place to stay. No frills but that's how we like it. The back porch, rocking chairs, the river and the geese. Harrahs had a great seafood buffet. We will be back.
