We stayed here for 3 nights with a large family reunion group. We reserved the Mountain Laurel rustic cabin. It included a double bed and a lift with 2 mattresses. The cabin was nicely decorated and fit the cabin motif. Bathroom was new and located outside the cabin. It lacked necessary hooks for clothing and towels. Onsite outdoor workers were... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a tent. Our site was one of 3 RV sites that had shelters and we were able to set up our large tent under it. Great for shading or in case of rain! We were right near the bath house, one of the playgrounds and the creek access. Several reviewers mentioned rude staff and... More

The Good: The campground is set up beautifully with lots to do. Nicely shaded by mature trees and as much privacy as possible considering the sites are so close together. The river runs alongside the campground so you can tube anytime you want. The Bad: This seems to be a family run establishment and the friendliness of the staff depended... More

Tuning down the Deep Creek was very fun! We went down two times and enjoyed both of them. It took some getting used to regarding the rocks and getting unstuck! The value was great... $5 for hours of fun is great! But be aware that falling out of the tube on some drops can happen. Of our family, every single... More

I went there because some friends were camping and invited my daughter and I for dinner as we were staying at a local motel. I saw the sign that said visitors must check in so I did and was told I had to pay $5 to park. I then asked if I could park off property and walk in. The... More

My family and I made a reservation over the phone Saturday June 27th for one night for Thursday July 2nd. We were told the rental fee for the tent site would be $25 and they charged my card for the $25. When we arrived on Thursday they told us the rate was $30 and we owed another $5. When we... More

I was skeptical because of the poor reviews but we were not sure what all the negative hub bub was about. We just spent almost 8 days with a group and we took up several cabins .... Black bear, magnolia, deer, and brook trout and really enjoyed our stay. You can tell the owners care about this place and the... More

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, family and pet friendly, great service, clean bath house, very nice playground for kids. The only downsides, that we saw, we're the campsites were a little too close and parking spaces are not defined, which caused people to take up too much parking space. This is a problem due to limited parking area.... More

Ended up getting a rv site even though tent camping, it was just a few dollars more. Site had a covered section, water and power well worth the money spent. A few small playgrounds for the kids that was nice, had gem mining and tube rentals up front. Quite time starts at 10 which is fair and everything quieted down... More

We came to Deep Creek for our first stop for our summer family vacation. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and they even helped with backing our 29' trailer into a tough space. We spent most of our times doing off site activities so were not there tons, but we thought the campground was nice, my kids (10... More
