We stayed here as we were dropping off our son at App State for summer camp. The location is convenient. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel because A) the wireless internet was down most of our stay and B) the breakfast was simple and crowded. When you are paying well over $100 a night, I expect better. On the plus... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn, Boone for 3 days in June as a base to travel around the mountain area, sightseeing, hiking, Ziplining, Whitewater rafting, shopping, exploring, etc. The Hampton served as a decent, clean base, but beyond that, it was not notable. The rooms are very darkly apportioned, there is only one small window, a wall with an... more

This is a nice motel, and they serve a good, basic complimentary breakfast. The rooms were quiet, except in the early morning when trucks at the traffic light ground their gears. Everything was very clean with the exception of the carpeting (dirty carpet seems to be the standard for most motels now). They had a nice pool/jacuzzi area which my... more

My wife and I spent three nights here during the height of the fall colors just to tour the area, and everything fully met our hopes and expectations. Everything about the hotel was great. Upon check-in the front desk staff asked if we knew the area, and when we said "no", immediately gave us a map of the area, pointed... more

Another nice hampton inn! Our room was super clean, roomy & very comfortable. Room decor had a great updated appeal. Another great thing - a nonsmoking facility!!!! The staff we came in contact with were all very pleasant & helpful. Beds were super soft! Only thing that I was surprised with was the breakfast. We've stayed at other HI's with... more

Our family of two adults and two teenagers arrived on a Sunday evening and were warmly greeted at the Hampton Inn at Boone. The hotel was clean and inviting, and our room was beautifully decorated. Our teens enjoyed the spa & pool, and the area was private and very clean. The breakfast was standard Hampton, but the popcorn in the... more

This Hampton Inn was better than we expected, and located half a block from the main intersection in Boone. The rooms were very well appointed and very well maintained. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy breakfast due to family commitments. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The only minor downside was that we could smell chlorine... more

We stayed at the Hampton because we had accumulated Hilton Honors points in the last few months. Knowing from experience that those points get wiped away quickly if not used, I reserved the room on a credit card before our 2 week trip and then called HH the day before to transfer the up to date points to a certificate... more

We just returned form a weekend stay in Boone and this hotel is a gem....Not only are the staff members friendly, they are helpful and sweet spirited. Our room was a double room on the fifth floor. The room was perfectly clean and in good repair, the pool area was clean and well maintained. Although we didn't use the exercise... more
