TV is about a 25 inch old-timey curved picture tube with a fuzzy picture. Had to unplug refrigerator because it rattled. The plumbing makes weird humming sounds that reminded me of Chewbacca. The elevator on our end of the hall was out of service. Bathroom smelled of Cigarette Smoke! Wi Fi kept discannecting about every 10 minutes. The room was... more

The staff is friendly but the breakfast room seemed cramp - maybe because it was Labor Day weekend. This Hampton Inn is par but what sets it apart from the other hotels is the wardrobe with ambient lighting in addition to the metal bar near the closet. more

We stayed at this hotel last week....checking out on July 26th. Rooms were nicely remodeled and beds were VERY comfortable. I've stayed on less comfortable beds in much pricier hotels. Pool and fitness center was very much appreciated by this mom of busy children. Teen son liked both and young twins loved the pool and jacuzzi within pool area. Mom... more

I stayed at this Hampton Inn on business twice in June, 2009, and I had a good experience during both stays. The hotel delivers on the Hampton brand promise -- while it's not a fancy place, it was clean, comfortable, and had a polite staff. The value for my room rate, $89 using AAA, was great. The hotel's location is... more

We stayed here as we were dropping off our son at App State for summer camp. The location is convenient. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel because A) the wireless internet was down most of our stay and B) the breakfast was simple and crowded. When you are paying well over $100 a night, I expect better. On the plus... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn, Boone for 3 days in June as a base to travel around the mountain area, sightseeing, hiking, Ziplining, Whitewater rafting, shopping, exploring, etc. The Hampton served as a decent, clean base, but beyond that, it was not notable. The rooms are very darkly apportioned, there is only one small window, a wall with an... more

This is a nice motel, and they serve a good, basic complimentary breakfast. The rooms were quiet, except in the early morning when trucks at the traffic light ground their gears. Everything was very clean with the exception of the carpeting (dirty carpet seems to be the standard for most motels now). They had a nice pool/jacuzzi area which my... more

My wife and I spent three nights here during the height of the fall colors just to tour the area, and everything fully met our hopes and expectations. Everything about the hotel was great. Upon check-in the front desk staff asked if we knew the area, and when we said "no", immediately gave us a map of the area, pointed... more

Another nice hampton inn! Our room was super clean, roomy & very comfortable. Room decor had a great updated appeal. Another great thing - a nonsmoking facility!!!! The staff we came in contact with were all very pleasant & helpful. Beds were super soft! Only thing that I was surprised with was the breakfast. We've stayed at other HI's with... more
