I wish I could find a Hidden Valley Motel in every town I visit. I wish the search engines had the ability for us to find the perfect little getaway that is clean, comfortable, friendly, beautiful gardens, and old-school family or couple oriented slice of life. We are headed on a road trip and all I can think about is... More

Hidden Valley Motel is more like staying with friends than a motel experience. Our room had antique/collection decor and family photos. The room had ample space, clean, comfortable mattresses, extra pillows, plenty of towels, and wi-fi. The owners are SUPER friendly and we truly enjoyed meeting them. Travelers will need to know that room amenities such as soaps and shampoo... More

Thanks for the nice review, Maxine and I find this to be a fun business and enjoy meeting our guests. Maxine has never been a coffee drinker, me I understand the need, hopefully we will have coffee makers available in the near future. Soaps and shampoo, rooms should have a couple of bars of soap and a couple of packets... More

Ok I checked in to this place for a one night stay. I had my 2 sons and one grandson with me. This was a great find. Jim the owner was very pleasant. The room was very clean and very spacious. We stayed in #6 which had two queen size beds and one twin. There was a love seat and... More

Booked a weekend during App State Family weekend based upon reviews on Tripadvisor and glad we did. No long lines waiting for waffles in the morning or screaming kids (with mindless parents) using the hot tub as a swimming pool. Just a simple warm, clean, and cozy room to relax for the weekend and enjoy a good nights rest. Our... More

Nice enough room, but a little odd with 3 beds (2 dbl +1 sgl). Nicely refinished older property with friendly helpful mgt., but over 5 miles to town (food), and worse is they don't provide coffee. Gotta have coffee.

Thanks for the review; I’ll attempt to add useful comments for future guests. Room sizes range from 1 queen, 2, queens, and 2 queens and 1 twin, the extra bed comes in handy with the larger family or perhaps three individuals travelling together, but at times it may just be the only room available and larger then needed by the... Great place to stay!! Booked a room last minute for a quick trip to view the fall color. Great value! I am a little skeptical of hotels/motels. I usually stay in a cabin or my camper, but all cabins were booked due to short notice. After reading reviews of this place, decided to give it at try. I was pleasantly... More

You will be checked in by the owners. You can enjoy viewing their pretty garden. More importantly, you can open your windows, and enjoy the fresh air. There are comfortable chairs outside of your door to unwind in. You will be about 1/2 way between Grandfather Mountain and Boone, NC - both great places to find good food and various... More

We stayed here 4 nights while in Boone for a football game and sight seeing. The motel is comfy and clean, and a good value for the money, especially considering the price of other lodging in the area. Mom and Pop owned and operated, very nice owners who try to make you feel at home. Our room appeared to have... More

We just finished a road trip from New England down to KY, TN, & NC and up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We mostly stayed at chain hotels but decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews. We weren't disappointed. It was the best hotel we stayed at on our trip - unique, clean, and a good... More
