I wish when I had booked the trip to this campground, they had mentioned that they did not have cable. I saw a previous review and assumed that since they advertise Cable TV, that they would have it by the time I arrived. I like to watch the morning news with my coffee and mellow down right before bed time... More

We really enjoyed this campground. The owners are super nice. Some tent spots are small maybe can fit a tent and 1 vehicle. Our tent site was large with nice small gravel. We had a 8 person tent, 2 canopies, and parked 2 vehicles at our site. The check in process was simple. There was a rock fire pit and... More

This is a great campround especially for those with RVs, the only complaint I have is the bathhouse needs some updating, there was only one outlet in the women's and it DID NOT work! The men's and women's showers both need shelves!!! Other than that a great quiet campground in a easy to get to location!

Check in time was 2 PM and we showed up at 3:15. Completed the check in and headed to our site. We came down the hill to our site to find another camper in our spot. Contacted the office and they said they would figure out what happened. We pulled back up to the office and found out it was... More

Honey Bear is an excellent campground! The staff is so friendly and they treat you like family. This is the only campground I've ever been to with a coffee shop! I was so excited. It's not just plain coffee either they have several of the same things Starbucks would have and tastes the same. We had an excellent camping spot... More

We stayed here Labor Day weekend 2014. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were all kinds of activities going on. They have a couple of really fun swings, yard bowling, corn hole, movie nights, live music, karaoke, pool table, ping pong, basketball goal, volleyball net, etc. They have a coffee shop too, but... This was our third summer at Honey Bear Campground. The stay there was great this time just as it has been in the past. Our site is perfect for us and we have already booked for next summer (2015). The owners, as well as there staff are always very helpful and striving to make your stay as enjoyable as you... More

My family and I recently spent 3 nights at Honey Bear. It is tucked into the side of a mountain, so some of roads are a bit steep, but being on the side of a mountain makes it unique and beautiful. Our kids, ages 6 & 9, had a lot of fun. There were a lot of other kids that... More

Out of town put us on a hill facing down on the driveway. Plus I was too long for the site they should have told me!! Told us that there was cable. You need a cable box to have cable. How can I install a cable box in my motorhome when its built in. Could not put awning out it... More

We spent an unplanned night here and were so appreciative of the staff's enthusiasm and help in accommodating us . The general appearance of the place is lovely and some sites are near woodsy perfection. Others are gravel slips carved out of the mountainside which made me wonder about the stability of the dirt and a mudslide. The electric hookup... More
