Our one-night stay here after an ASU football game was not to our expectations. We thought we would try this hotel since it is new. Didn't realize it was a "dog" hotel until after checking in. Although there was no barking noise, it just made us feel like this new place was already dirty! Beds were really firm - way... more

Really nice hotel, I am always leary when booking a hotel that allows pets unless it is a true name brand 3 stars etc. But Laquinta came thru, this is a beautiful hotel, nice rooms, they allow pets, tempur-pedic beds. Really nice. My only complaint or suggestion and this would apply to all hotels that allow pets, have an area... more

Stayed here one night while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent hotel in all regards. Very nice accomodations. Front desk staff went out of there way to be accomodating. Fresh baked cookies and popcorn nice treat at checkin. Free breakfast was above average. Only downside was a little hard to see the sign because of road construction so "headsup". Nice... more

This is a very pretty hotel with horrible service. We checked in on time and our room wasn't ready. The front desk clerk was very impatient and rude. He finally gave us a room, but after sitting in the room a few minutes, we realized that it didn't have the fireplace like we booked. Called down front and we were... more

well i did have a glowing review for this hotel until morning when 2 of the maidservice staff just opened my door without knocking and with a donot disturb sign on the door. good thing i had finished getting ready. how irresponsible, this place falls well below any standard of treatment i have ever recieved. more

This is a BEAUTIFUL facility. The rooms were very classy and nicely furnished, which was a surprise given their affordability. The beds and their linens were very pretty. There was a nice table with two chairs and a third chair was available in the room. The microwave and mini-fridge were located inside a beautiful cabinet. The bathroom was also quite... more

We had reservations and arrived at 4pm to be told they didn't have a room ready for us - after being outside all day, we were ready to get cleaned up and relax - however that had to wait (how many people actually checked out on a Friday, that they didn't have rooms ready?) We were not the only ones... more

We loved staying at LaQuinta. The room was clean and comfy. It was a great treat to be able to bring our Cocker Spaniel. We will stay there again for sure! more

I guess my hopes were too high. I was expecting a clean new hotel in the mountains of North Carolina that I wouldn't mind lounging around during the day between trips though the area. The hotel is new and clean but in the heart of a bustling little town. They gave us our choice of rooms. On one side is... more

We stayed at this hotel last year when it was new and like it a lot. Now the hotel is already showing wear from poor construction. It's pretty on the outside and our room was fine, but the water pressure in the sink was almost non-existant and the breakfast was weak. There were a lot of dogs in this hotel... more
