nothing liked what their website shown, this is nothing like a B&B. There's no decor. The iron is rusted. I had to asked for the sofa bed's bedding. the king bedding had stains. The king bed and the sofa bed both were terribly uncomfortable. I personally woke and got up 3 times in the middle of night and left the... more

We had a wonderful stay at the B & B. The ladies running the place were not only very personable and helpful but they are also very good cooks. When you arrive and walk inside, you smell the aromas of freshly baked cakes, deserts, etc. It's almost like staying at Grandma's house. It's very close to down town so you... more

We love visiting Blowing Rock, but had never stayed at Maple Lodge before. We were up for the Winterfest and our hosts made reservations for dinner at our favorite eatery. They also obtained tickets to a few events, which I promptly lost. Our hosts immediately got us new tickets at no additional expense, except for their time! They took care... more

Cosy inn in the heart of the small town of Blowing Rock. We stayed in early October and the autumn leaves were already spectacular. A fog came down in the morning and it was great to sit in the library reading books, feeling good to be indoors. Both the innkeepers and their night manager were absolutely first class and breakfast... more

My husband and I met at the Maple Lodge 26 years ago and decided it was where we wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary along with our children and son-in-law. We requested, prior to our arrival, that a cheese and fruit platter and wine be available upon our arrival in the front living room. We also requested that reservations be... more

We last stayed here about four years ago when the Batemens owned it. Our experience was so wonderful we decided to return. The Inn has changed hands and the stay didn't live up to our expectations. We stayed in Dogwood, which was a pleasant room with a separate dressing room, a very small bathroom, but there was an extra basin... more

A very large disappointment. I have never stayed at a b&b where there were no soft drinks available, nor bottled water. There were no blinds on one window, the pillows were hard like rocks and the curtain on one window was torn. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. All in all, it was a very big... more

Maple Lodge Inn is a charming property, located conveniently in Blowing Rock. We were able to walk easily to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfasts are very good. The breakfast room opens onto a little patio with flowers, birdhouses, etc., and was a very nice setting for a good meal. Rooms have window unit air... more

We booked the Maple Lodge because we were looking for a Bed and Breakfast in a walkable area that wasn't too expensive. Friends of ours had stayed there a few years back and had been satisfied. Our room was very nice. We stayed in Hydrangea which is one of the smaller less expensive rooms, but very nicely decorated. It did... more
