We were totally captivated by the inn and the placement of the inn on a ridge overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The service was excellent. The rooms and common areas immaculate. We had a stone floor covered porch overlooking the mountains and the gardens of the inn. We felt like we never wanted to leave.

Great Inn for our 40th anniversary celebration! Great staff, facility and fantastic location. Moses Cone knew how to enjoy his wealth! We walked to Blowing Rock in 5 minutes before breakfast. The local town and establishments were also fun to explore. With hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway you have all you need for a great time.

This stone castle wrapped around the top of a mountain seems to be operated by house elves.Things appear just before you need them and disappear right when you don't need them anymore.
